I know Jan my BABY is one next month

1!!!

surely shes still a tiny new born???

janx · 02/11/2009 16:45

I am loving him at the moment - I love every stage - but atm he such a comedian - unlike his big sis who could talk for England by the time she was two - ds is a late developer but manages to get himself understood
Dis - a bn xlr - v exciting - you must have a great hubby!...dp wants me to get rid of our mb - if we get another buggy - but no way

Disenchanted3 · 02/11/2009 16:51

He doesn't know!

janx · 02/11/2009 16:53

He can't go mad on your birthday ...have a lovely day

nicolamumof3 · 02/11/2009 16:53

no way you need the mb as well, couldn't be without my three wheeler for country walks, saturday footie and park then can keep xt all shiny for shops lol!!

oooh dis you bad girl, what colour? i can't believe your little baby is nearly one either.

5inthehousesofparliament · 02/11/2009 16:53

My baby is one in 22 days time

I want a new pram, do you think I can use the same method you're using Dis, and get one for my birthday next week

Disenchanted3 · 02/11/2009 16:54

choc/pink

I was naughty though and got it on credit, bnp next sep and £30 off

so will pay it off before then at 0%
and pay big chunks off when I sell my other bits

nicolamumof3 · 02/11/2009 17:24

lol you are funny girls!!

dis i did the same with my xt.

maxybrown · 02/11/2009 17:26

5in have you seen the baby jogger on the boards?

OP posts:
Disenchanted3 · 02/11/2009 17:27

Well I was soooooooo giddy over the XLR that it was only about 10 mins after I ordered it that I sat doen and theought 'errr you could have got a black XT for £50 cheaper!'

Its the pink though.

I love this strider, its FAB, love the 3 wheels, love the rear facing, got her a cute wee red footmuff... but its just not girly enough. I can't bear it being so , so ... unisex

nicolamumof3 · 02/11/2009 17:48

i was tempted by the baby jogger i must say but she says pick up only so thats that decided!!

i wish i had got on with my xlr its just too big for me tho. love my xt. should have bn mac universal footmuff coming this week from boots and ordered another comfort pack, i'll have all the colours soon!

maxybrown · 02/11/2009 17:51

Yes but I can poss get to it if anyone wanted it!

I am wondering if I fancy a 360 and sell my fixed wheel no no no!!!!

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 02/11/2009 18:07

oooh tempted. would i like BJCM better than mac xt? i doubt it. i don't need two three wheelers

do you need swivel then maxy? i can see the nipper being my last pushchair ever for luka.

SparklyGothKat · 02/11/2009 18:11

I just won a black tx cosytoes on ebay for £30 posted.. yah me!!

nicolamumof3 · 02/11/2009 18:15

oooh bargain, is it new?

SparklyGothKat · 02/11/2009 18:19

used twice

maxybrown · 02/11/2009 18:20

Nah, I don't think you would like the BJCM and orange is a tricky colour

Oh I don't know. Have seen a couple of bargain 360's recently. I just think it would maybe be more practical. Although I do still take it on the bus and train. It is so snug for winter and bad days. I do love my new xlr though and my bunker, which i think will also be fab on the Nipper. I have to say I used Nipper today with BS and BS seemed really flimsy after using the bunker

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 02/11/2009 18:24

i don't use Buggysnuggles in mid winter tho they aren't thick enough, maybe ok with a snowsuit, but last year when it was cold luka was in p&t sleeping bag zipped right up, polartec suit and a blanket! i'd like to try a bunker i like the grey ones. i think the nipper footmuff is quite snuggly tho.

i like the orange/grey bjcm. im tempted but i do think i'll prefer my maclaren.

Disenchanted3 · 02/11/2009 18:24

is the XLR realllly heavy??

ive got the beat stroller (m&p) but it seems flimsy.
maybe i should have gotten grey XT and pink footmuff?

nic stick with the xt, your a mac girl at heart

maxybrown · 02/11/2009 18:29

Oh....I've only ever had a BS mind you Ds went mad last year in the BS AND the polarfleece all in one. he gets hot!! But I do think the sheep fleece ones are warmer than the other style ones, like the star one I had, I didn't think that was as snuggly. But the Bunker wins hands down anyway!

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 02/11/2009 18:32

um dis my honest opinion on the xlr is that it is too big for a stroller, but thats just me i found it huge folded, heavy to lift and push, and big to store, handles got scuffed in car as so long. i much preferred my xt. you may well love it tho plenty do of course!!

yes the sheep ones are thick but i prefer the faux fur ones as they're softer. got an autumn leaves one today its gorgeous soft its like new. debating between another BS, a kaiser or a wallaboo atm!! can't justify £70 on lodger.
