Hi guys I was wondering if I could join you?

Have been on the for sale boards for a while buying and selling a few bits and I think due to my love of pushchairs this is my home from home!

Have got DS almost 3yrs
and DD 6m

Have had:
Quinny Zapp
M&P Aria
M&P Moove
P.S. Zia
2 different bugaboo bees
Phil &Teds sport
Marco sky double
Maclaren twin techno

Currently have:
Bugaboo cameleon
M&P luna
Hauck icoo plasma

But i want to get rid of all of them and just get a mountain buggy i think..(and maybe a zia......again )

Also a sucker for lovely kid clothes, boden, gap etc.

Will you let me join ?

horsemadgal · 18/11/2009 00:19

Hi citybranch, think everyone else away to bed!

Buggynuts · 18/11/2009 06:58

janx · 18/11/2009 07:53

Morning all
Maxy - the pjs are 37.5cm leg length and the arm length is 23cm. If you want them for £3 posted - you can owe me if no pp funds

sal1309 · 18/11/2009 08:19

good morning all

welcome buggynuts and citybranch.

congrats on selling xt nicola.

weather is miserable again here. at least dd is in nursery this morning.

maxy how did the first day on the job go?

nicolamumof3 · 18/11/2009 08:24

its really windy here, don't have to go out yet tho thankfully, going round to my friends for coffee then got some jobs to do in town, then big food shop when terry gets home. oh the joys!!

xt not technically sold til i get the pp funds!! but im washing it all today been using nipper all week and tbh i don't like it in town prefer a stroller

sal1309 · 18/11/2009 08:33

lol nicola, you will hopefully get your xlr soon then you can be happy again

maxybrown · 18/11/2009 08:36

Horrible here too, we've just got toddler group this afternoon. Then making a huge cottage pie to last us 2 days!!!

Thanks Jan for that, feel a bit cheeky doing that .......have just measured him and they will be too small anyway but thank you so much.

Job went fine thanks sal! Only a little cleaning job, but I actually enjoyed it! And Mum loved having James all to herself too I think hee hee.

I love using Nipper full stop, hence why I would like 360 to use it more in town. I do take my fixed wheel with me but it's hard at this time of year as no space to turn it lol!

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 18/11/2009 08:37

which do you like more maxy...nipper or xlr??

hopefully my lodger will come today.

maxybrown · 18/11/2009 08:46

oh gawd don't make me choose!!!!

Well, I haven't actually used the Nipper since the XLR came

I prefer the cozyness of the Nipper in winter, BUT with the lodger, the xlr is very cosy too

I HATE Mac raincovers in general as I don't think they offer a toddler enough leg room, and DS never happy with it on. Bad design I think, nice to have a small foldable fit anywhere raincover, but really i think it is too small when on. So for that Nipper is better. I think really I would like a swivel 3 wheeler and maybe why not used it quite so much recently.....been looking at all sorts.

I think I will take Nipper out today and try lodger on it as no buses to get today

OP posts:
janx · 18/11/2009 08:59

Thought they might be too small - don't be daft about the idea of paying later though -
Am after a thin hoody if you have one? Nicola may have one - should have bought that camper van one off you!

maxybrown · 18/11/2009 09:05

Thanks jan they will only just be too small lol.

I have a knitted cotton stripe one that is brand new?

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/11/2009 10:40

Hi there. Been out in the wild windy weather and just having a breather before the housework onslaught.
All this talk of xlrs makes me itchy
Too expensive for me though
I am quite glad I just have the xt at the minute and so far DD has been fine with the stay put blanket on it. I may have to rethink if it gets really cold.

carrielou2007 · 18/11/2009 14:02

Afternoon all

Just dropped pliko switch off to a lovely lady who had 4 prams I could see and had more in the loft.

I'm very restrained, I have the denim bugaboo and denim pliko switch, a zapp frame and adaptors for quick plonk on car seat if bubs asleep, black xt I still use for dd and will pack away soon until bubs is about 12 months and black denim pliko I am selling. I still find myself lusting after MB or a cheap UD but would have to stash in the garage.

I appear to be nesting, scrubbing everything in site, rearranging drawers and cuboards, having massive sort outs yet have another 6 weeks to go yet!!!

SparklyGothKat · 18/11/2009 14:14

someone messaged me on eaby asking if I will swop my XLR for a Streety, was it someone here lol...
