lol yes they are doing the 1200 on weds and thurs i believe, i've got £2200 so far by doing two £50 shops, so im quite happy!! not bad as all stuff i wanted and all 3for2's as well. i like building up my points to get the boys some clothes in the new year.

dunoon you're right he was shattered, we will have this three days tho as he's at nursery tomorrow and friday we have to get home quick lunch and back out door to take tate. i might make him packed lunch to eat on the 5min walk home tomorrow? worth a go, i used to do that with tate sometimes.

FlyMeToDunoon · 09/11/2009 20:24

DD3 just been offered a third morning starting tomorrow!
Little sandwich a good idea.

5inthebed · 09/11/2009 20:27

DS3 is a nightmare in the morning on the school run, as he doesn't like his breakfast first thing. So I usually have a cereal bar and a squeezy yoghurt in my bag for him and he has it on the way home.

pebbles79 · 09/11/2009 20:42

Ordered my new shiny black XT this morning

nicolamumof3 · 09/11/2009 20:51

oooh nice pebbles im still toying with selling mine?!

its a nightmare when i pick him up, as im getting him kicking and screaming into buggy as well, he might be more compliant when i show him a little snack!!

5inthebed · 09/11/2009 20:53

Don't sell it Nicola!

carrielou2007 · 09/11/2009 20:57

Evening all .

I still love love love my black xt, will pac it up soon as won't use it prob until splodge is 11/12 months or so.

Getting really fed up of ebay, woman keeps asking me about receipt/warranty etc - I bought buggy new from Boots but if you buy second hand it does not come with a warranty hence cheap price - grr. Just hit buy it now so I can get my sheepskin liner!!

nicolamumof3 · 09/11/2009 21:07

i'd only sell if i got a bargain quest, need the money for xmas now im not working.

people who ask for receipts drive me nuts on ebay, ok maybe if its bn but not a secondhand bloody pushchair grrrr! hope it sells soon carrielou, how you doing anyways?

carrielou2007 · 09/11/2009 21:39

I'm fine ta, have the cartoon style stuck-on-bump that I am gettng rather fond of .

5inthebed · 09/11/2009 21:41

What you selling Carrie? I hate people who ask for the receipt on Ebay as well.

I have decided I'm going to sell spitfire when I get the BJCM. Anyone want it? Or the Aran footmuff? I would quite like that black and lime star buggysnuggle off the boards.

ScattyKatty · 09/11/2009 21:49

I'd love it but DH would hate having a RAF pushchair in the house!

Does anyones DC's have a balance bike? I keep seeing 2 year old's round here on them and they look amazing!

nicolamumof3 · 09/11/2009 21:54

5in my messenger crashed and can't get it back up

5inthebed · 09/11/2009 21:55

No problem Nicola, mine was being arsey earlier.

carrielou2007 · 09/11/2009 22:03

Ooh, aran footmuff what's that like??

Selling pliko, pliko switch and volo need my spare room back to become a nursery!!

Divatheshopaholic · 09/11/2009 22:05

5in, i just emailed you pictures of buggysnuggle.

basl · 09/11/2009 22:10

sorry to bother you nicola but was wondering if you managed to measure the nipper wheels.I am thinking of selling my elite as as much as i love it i can not fit it through the front door. My house has a porch and the door is not a standard fitting. The elite is just too big for it so i have to trail it round my backgarden and into my dining room living room and then store in the porch. I would get on much better using my front door. The bjcm was perfect. I think i really like the sound of the nipper. Does the seat accomadate a large toddler? thanks

nicolamumof3 · 09/11/2009 22:13

well anyone who knows me knows im massive fan of nipper had one sold it and bought another!!

seat is good size v.wide but wouldn't fit an overly tall toddler Tate fits in just at nearly 4yr. Luka fits in easily at 2.4yr with loads of head room. will see him through till no longer needing a buggy. sold my first one as luka seemed to hate the laid back seat but he's been fine this time around. will measure those wheels for you in the morning, sorry i completely forgot

basl · 09/11/2009 22:21

oh that is no problem i know you have a busy life i always have a catch up and read how everyone is doing. Don't go to any bother no rush. Just think i only use the elite for the school run and walks but it is becoming a bit of a pain. I take it the recline is a pull type thingy. Anyway i will let you go and catch up sometime thanks nic

5inthebed · 09/11/2009 23:04

Carrie, it is lovely and plush, in cream. Vertbaudet. Only had it on the pram once, and just washed it, has come uplovely. Will take photos tomorrow.

BexieID · 09/11/2009 23:28

maxy - glad SALT appt went ok. Tom didn't need anything further although they were supposed to send nursery a letter but didn't, so have a lovely meeting on thursday about Toms speech and potty training.

The ladies in my local Clarks are ok. Always say hello and that.

nicola - joggers came today thanks!

Am happy as just got a Graco car seat adapter of ebay for the P&T so Tom can now go in the 2nd seat if hes feeling lazy! Like today when he went ballistic cuz I took cdrive down the stairs and he had to walk. I had to go fetch him and carry the wee minx down.

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/11/2009 08:03

Morning.

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/11/2009 08:07

Oh just reading that Justine from mumsnet is going to be on gmtv talking about the maclaren recall.

nicolamumof3 · 10/11/2009 08:15

i never get to watch gmtv! the dcs have control and cbeebies on in morning!! tho right now they are watching monsters vs aliens!!

basl got a manic morning, visiting school for tate first thing then swimming lesson then collect luka then home lunch then back out to nursery then my friend round for coffee but will do measuring for you! the recline is a strap that clips/unclips and you extend or lenghten (like on a maclaren triumph) no bother to me as i either have it fully tightened or just unclip it if DS3 goes to sleep i don't both with any inbetweens!!

glad you got joggers ok bex thanks for letting me know.

janx · 10/11/2009 11:15

Morning - I am at my wits end with ds at the moment - he is so tantrummy...he is tired and teething, but man he is sooooooo frustrating. Last night I got home from work and he gets really excited and will not go to bed...then he is super tired and gets hysterical and won't have a story, so we end of me lying on the floor and singing to him for an hour ....this has been going on for a week. Mornings are dreadful too - he goes mad when dp takes him to nursery - screaming and lying on the floor - even a chocolate bribe won't work. Apparently he is an angel at nursery - mr laughs and they all love him ....sorry rant over

basl · 10/11/2009 12:07

janx i feel for you i am in the same boat. My dd actually said her ears hurt with all the crying her little brother does. She likes a good scream and cry as well and she is 4. I feel frustrated with this as well. Hope you have a better day today.
