maxy it went for £20!! he wouldn't send it.

rusmum i don't think umbrella folds apart from maclarens seem to hold their money unfortunately, no luck on ebay? is there any completed listings for them?

rusmum · 05/11/2009 20:07

Boo- sooo frustrating isnt it ?

maxybrown · 05/11/2009 20:10

It's very quiet on here at the moment, and the boards.

have you tried a zapp?

maxybrown · 05/11/2009 20:11

Nicola I am emailing you!

FlyMeToDunoon · 05/11/2009 20:37

How long do you think I should leave this seller then?
I contacted initially to ask for an invoice with a note to ask about good days to arrange courier for.
Then I just put £0.00 postage and paid the sale price with a note to ask for a convenient day to arrange courier. These two both last night. No reply as of yet.

nicolamumof3 · 05/11/2009 20:42

dunoon i've been there myself with bargain prams heard nothing. nowt as weird as ebay, or ebayers!

ScattyKatty · 05/11/2009 20:48

Maxy how much for that cardy? You have so much lovely stuff! I loved those cons but I'm assuming you sold them to the 1st person

FlyMeToDunoon · 05/11/2009 20:55

Well I have sent another request for a day for courier to collect.
Did you pay by paypal Nicola?
I have paid.
Grrrr
Oh well maybe someone is unwell or summat.

ScattyKatty · 05/11/2009 20:59

I hate it when ebayers don't reply! Before I bought the Pashley direct I tried to find one on ebay and someone was selling a new one £245, I emailed to ask them about couriers and they never even replied! You would think with something that expensive they'd make the effort. But no. There loss though as I just bought oe straight from Pashley.

It'll be your sellers fault if you pull out too.

janx · 05/11/2009 21:30

Evening everyone

Been to a firework display tonight, was some lovely fireworks, one even looke like a butterfly!

janx · 05/11/2009 21:56

Thanks maxy...dis you around? I need a idiots guide to hood cleaning after dp left a bananna skin in the hood
Had to bail out of the firework display - ds is a bit under the weather

nicolamumof3 · 05/11/2009 22:07

you need SGK for MB

horsemadgal · 05/11/2009 22:41

Dis did you get the Bodge the Badger waterproof?
DS1 has one of those and it is fab, must check if it still fits him actually.

SparklyGothKat · 05/11/2009 22:48

Janx, you can remove the hood for washing, if you make a small hole in the hood on the inside you can feed the bar out so its doesn't get bend in the machine.

Wash the whole lot (seat too) at 30 degrees sorted

onelittlelion · 05/11/2009 22:49

Hello!

Ds needs waterproofs too. I keep looking at the JoJo ones as I normally love their stuff.

Jan - My MB hood won't go in my machine so have doen it in the bath as never got that grubby but my friend has a bigger machine and she just puts hers in on a cool, quick wash I think. You can unpick it and take the inner wire out too and resew it then should fit in any machine but I'm not that brave!

nicolamumof3 · 06/11/2009 07:27

i don't get why the waterproof dungies are £22pair on jojo when i got lovely fleece lined waterproof trousers from them for £12, alot when you need two pairs of everything!!

maxybrown · 06/11/2009 08:00

Morning! Because the waterproof dungies are proper waterproofs with taped seams. I don't think the fleece lned ones are taped, more showerproof. I used to babysit for the Muddy puddles woman so often saw them being made! lol. My landlady and friend was the woman who did the taping on the seams and what a hot long job it was. We all just lived up the road from the farm......sigh, the days when I lived somewhere beautiful!

Disenchanted3 · 06/11/2009 08:04

morning,

no I forgot about the fleece waterproof

On reflection its probably good I did as I can't see stuborn DS climbing into it.

Would have been good for on the bike thoguh.

Getting my last few bits for Christmas today from TRU. Need to ride to the PO depot to pick DDs upsy Daisy up, was delivered 2 days ago when I was out, but its peeing it down

Hopefully have sold some of DDs clothes, a wee bundle for almost £30, is NAS & monsoon though.

could get more on ebay but cant be bother, the nas dress sells used for 20 plus p&p valone on fleabay

Dunno whether to get pink mac footmuff now, only because i think its a lighter pink than the xlr and it will cover the lovely liner and DD has her big snosuit on under the apron so seems pretty snug.

Disenchanted3 · 06/11/2009 08:47

If I were to get a footmuff should I get the pink mac one or the brown fur one?

ScattyKatty · 06/11/2009 09:03

Emailed you Maxy Really excited about the cons and cardy. Who bought the GAP one in the end, I may have to put some dibbies down

No post today as they are striking again.... luckily Post Office still open so will post some stuff that will hopefully get there in about 10 years

nicolamumof3 · 06/11/2009 09:30

dibs on the cons then please SK! they should fit Luka next year, he's still in his size 7 cons he's only a 6.5g at startrite.

added some new clothes today, found some osh kosh dungies luka not even had on, now too small, gutted!!

the fur mac one is lovely dis btw.

FlyMeToDunoon · 06/11/2009 09:41

Morning all.
I am such a divvy, over half term I seem to have gotten confused over DD3's nursery days and forgot she goes on a Thursday. I was all set to take her in today when DD1 queried it.
Perhaps it's lack of sleep over 10 years
Or age!
Anyway Mamu seller has responded and I am just awaiting her address etc for courier. So that's a relief.
