Hello and welcome!

OP posts:
scattykatty · 11/10/2009 11:57

Quality is ok...but TBH you are clearly paying a lot for the novelty.

scattykatty · 11/10/2009 11:58

Tateosaurus is probs one they have never had before Gin

maxybrown · 11/10/2009 11:58

Mind you my jeans fall down and they are certainly not too big

I may as well be on my own on a Sunday. Sunday is DH's working day, even though he is in the house, he isn't iyswim. He goes away a week on Monday for 6 days too Then he comes back day before my birthday

nicolamumof3 · 11/10/2009 11:59

the older ones are thinner, just a normal waistband more like pj's bottoms and imo comfier even tho they prob don't look as nice as the newer version. Tate loves his old baggies he always says 'my comfy trousers'

scattykatty · 11/10/2009 12:00

rather

nicolamumof3 · 11/10/2009 13:17

janx · 11/10/2009 13:32

coooooee - anyone there? Wanted some advice

nicolamumof3 · 11/10/2009 13:38

im here! as v.bored!!

janx · 11/10/2009 14:17

Ah - my dp is at work aswell - was going to put my jojo footmuff on ebay - should I start bidding at 99p do you think? Not really an ebay person - much rather buy and sell on mn, but no-one wants it

nicolamumof3 · 11/10/2009 14:19

have you checked completed jan? when you list it put footmuff cosytoes buggy snuggle all in title depends what you want for it? i think i might start it at 9.99?

maxybrown · 11/10/2009 14:22

one like yours jan sold for £3 plus £4 post.

janx · 11/10/2009 14:46

Havn't seen any like it recently..thanks for hte tip on title - gosh thought it would sell more than £3! Guess it better than nowt! Am trying to save for new camera and techo ...would like a last fling as I reckon ds has another year at least in a buggy. Dp wants to get rid of mb but I like it

nicolamumof3 · 11/10/2009 14:48

really eek thats not much is it? do you ever advertise on netmums? or i suppose gumtree good for you too as in london? worth a go?

i wouldn't be without three wheeler in winter jan esp if do you offroad walking? we have football every sat and thats going to start getting v.wet and muddy!

janx · 11/10/2009 14:55

I don't go on other forums tbh - don't really know them iyswim. We don't get out of london that often so don't really need a mb but I like air tyres even if I can't get in the shops. Ds prefers the mac though as he likes to be bolt upright

maxybrown · 11/10/2009 14:56

I am after techno too, but still have Nipper.

nicolamumof3 · 11/10/2009 14:56

just put nipper footmuff on its so cosy, bet the sun will come out now lol! im going to sainsburys then tae kwon do with boys.

janx · 11/10/2009 15:03

How does a nipper compare with a mb maxy?

maxybrown · 11/10/2009 15:46

I love my Nipper. I know lots of people say mountain bggy better but I have never tried one. I won't part with Nipper until we really really don't need a pushchair anymore!

5inthetomb · 11/10/2009 16:32

How small do nippers fold?

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/10/2009 17:01

Nipper:
light
No bumper bar
Storage on the back but shopping basket no good
Storage in hood
Big hood
Leg rest lays quite flat out.
Cheaper

MB:
Fixed handle is light too.
Can have bumper bar.
Big shopping basket.
Small hood
Lower foot rest.

Both solid.
Similar lay back mechanism [on the ones I had anyway]
Um can't think of anything else.

maxybrown · 11/10/2009 17:03

Depends on wether you take wheels off 5in, plus I have fixed wheel not 360.

I love the shopping basket on Nipper, can get LOADS in!! It is my loads of parcels to post pushchair I also have the extra storage basket though as well.

5inthetomb · 11/10/2009 17:07

I'm now looking at Baby Jogger Elites . New ones on Ebay for £229

1legmummy · 11/10/2009 17:48

Hi ladies, I need large swim nappies and sunsuits for 3 year old boy to arrive to me by Wednesday.

Any ideas? Anyone got any for sale? sun hats also and goggles.

Or ideas on catalogues to get them from

xx

nicolamumof3 · 11/10/2009 18:23

afternoon all, 5in i know norma loves her elite i think they look nice too but never used one. the beauty to me of the nipper is the lightness it feels lighter than my xt! it is a dream to push one handed fab with buggyboard, hood is huge. i really do love it. Great today with footmuff on super snug luka was alseep straight away in it! i think you will still need something quick/easy to fold tho for bus?

Depends how much you need air tyres. i mainly use xt but i think the nipper will be warmer for winter as seat more laid back and cosy, and air tyres essential in ice/snow.

maxybrown · 11/10/2009 18:26

Yeah Ds always sleeps best in Nipper too in the footmuff

I take mine on bus but don't have to fold it.
