Oh Nicola you're so good too them, you're ill so I'm sure Tom will understand. You'll make yourself worse trying to hold on when you're ill

What a rotten time for Tom's Dad to be away, he could have had Tom this whole evening so you wouldn't have had to sort him at least. Always the way, when you're fine people are always around doing nothing, the second you get ill everyones on holiday or really busy! Typical

nicolamumof3 · 25/09/2009 17:31

its ok, well last week i had an ulcer actually in my throat terry looked and said there's another one next to where it was. Think im v.run down, got my vit.c and multi vits out now to start taking. Little ones watching jungle book now before we have to go get tom. returning home via sainsburys to get more ice cream!!

Urgh I have horrible trouble with teeth, don't even mention them so FULL sympathy there!

Sounds a bit tonsillitisy?? I had my tonsills out when I was 5 but still get throat infections....interestingly my wisdom teeth flare up at same time too, so feel like I want to wrench out my whole throat! Tis not nice Nicola and akes you feel lousy. TAKE IT EASY!!!!!!!

Do salt wash gargle.......gosh, I sound like my Mother!!!

pebbles79 · 25/09/2009 18:00

Nicola, ulcers in your throat are a sign of infection and you'll need antibiotics. Get some Diflam from the chemist too.

FlyMeToDunoon · 25/09/2009 19:14

Evening all.
Sorry to hear you are feeling so bad Nicola. I hope you can get something to help from the pharmacist.
I am going to sell this Vigour. DD doesn't fit in it very well and I am actualy finding it a bit in the way. I have got used to having my one umbrella fold packed away in the cupboard.

sal1309 · 25/09/2009 19:41

uummmm tasty Hope they help Nicola

Don't think that women is actually going to sell me the ELC castle, shame as it would have been DS's 1st second hand toy so I could have happily told everyone on the '2nd hand Xmas presents' board that DS did have 2nd hand stuff Oh well, I'll keep trying.

DH is so not happy about going to Lincs tomorrow, have to leave at 8am

maxybrown · 25/09/2009 20:39

Sk, why won't she sell??? Strange.

Nicola, you may need more....remember when I had my horrific painful tooth incident a few months back, it made me cry so badly - after I had a tooth out? Well I ended up needing 2 lots of strong antibiotics, went then though

scattykatty · 25/09/2009 20:43

Well I don't know she won't only that she hasn't sent me the pics I asked for. I hope she does though as I've been after it for a while and will have to buy new otherwise

Tooth pain is the devil's work, wisdom teeth are pure evil

nicolamumof3 · 25/09/2009 20:52

i'd email her again scatty? worth a go?

i feel bit better, might even do my ironing in front of strictly!

OP posts:
maxybrown · 25/09/2009 20:55

Have you been on ebay? I think maybe she made a mistake with the price?? That seemed very cheap for a posted price if it was £80 and as new?? Would love the Schleich castle when DS is older......but then he might not lol!!

nicolamumof3 · 25/09/2009 20:56

nicolamumof3 · 25/09/2009 21:07

OP posts:
pebbles79 · 25/09/2009 21:09

Diflam is a throat spray thingy from the chemist, it's quite good. I used to suffer terribly from throat ulcers but it was at a time when I was very run down.

scattykatty · 25/09/2009 21:17

Well Maxy there is in ad in the paper for a castle of of doom from ELC this which is much bigger/more expensive and with figures going for £15 so I actually thought the price was a wee bit high!

nicolamumof3 · 25/09/2009 21:20

i do feel v.run down atm. don't really know why tho?

OP posts:
scattykatty · 25/09/2009 21:22

Cos the summer is over and it's too long til Christmas!

maxybrown · 25/09/2009 21:24

hmmm.....i would have thought that if it is as new and cost £80, that's less than a third of the price and so good! But things are generally cheaper in the paper...that doom one isn't for me I'm afraid.

i get excited about Christmas too Nic
