morning all

dam your stokke looks great and your kids are cute.

scatty i dont get bargains either

well i dont know wether to venture to tots today or not or to go for a brew with my mate decisions decisions lol

carrielou2007 · 24/09/2009 09:03

Morning all.

I don't like the stokke but for that price I would defo buy it!!!

Sal I have some mat clothes not worn at all this time?? Some dresses, stretchy tops, just Next and Gap 12 and 14??

Have midwife this morning and have heard you get a form now to apply for a 190 grant from 25 weeks onwards!!! Am going to treat myself to either a new yummy mummy bag (please someone buy this red one from me!!) or a cath kidston one . Apparantly it's to help you eat healthily but obs having a 2 year old in the house we already eat tons of fruit and veg!!!

sal1309 · 24/09/2009 09:11

cheers carrie but i am now where near that skinny (i wish i was). Let me know how much your after though as thats the perfect size for my mate

Like the sound of that £190 lol. someone was telling me the other day there is also a £500 grant you can aply for dont know how true that is but knowing my luck dh will earn too much lol

carrielou2007 · 24/09/2009 09:24

No much just no good to me, my neighbour gave me loads of stuff size 18?? That would all be FFP as she gave it to me but too big??

My friend got the 500 grant but I think it is if you are not able to work/on certain benefits etc though she was a CM and her partner works - will ask later.

5inthebed · 24/09/2009 09:27

The £500 is the Sure Start maternity grant. That link'll tell you all about it

sal1309 · 24/09/2009 09:36

the size 18 stuff would be fab carrie. Let me know how much you want ect and also a price for the small stuff as my mate keeps moaning that her clothes are getting too small. Its nice as she is exactly a month infront of me but we are both on call for having the kids so keep hoping neither of us goes early or late lol

cheers for that 5in have no idea if we qualify we get tax credits but not much suppose its worth a shot, they can only say no lol

carrielou2007 · 24/09/2009 09:40

Ooh thanks, I don't think I will get it as I get tax credits but not the working one as I earn more than 15000. 190 is still fab!!

pebbles79 · 24/09/2009 09:42

Morning all! I got a Chunkle Munkle delivery this morning which was very exciting! Got a new set for my Bee - here, here and here. Also asked Sarah to make me a little jacket with the same fabrics as my denim bee set as I love the combination so much. The jacket is stunning, honestly pics don't do it justice - it's so warm and padded and perfect for the winter - here, here and here

FlyMeToDunoon · 24/09/2009 09:47

Is anyone around I can email for advice about something?

carrielou2007 · 24/09/2009 09:52

Ooh that looks lovely, I luuuuuuuuuuuuuurve the bag.

FMTD [email protected]??

FlyMeToDunoon · 24/09/2009 09:58

Have mailed you thanks.
Probably daft.

carrielou2007 · 24/09/2009 10:11

Replied not daft at all.

Sal there are about 15 tops but no trousers so would prob have to send by cheapy courier then stick other stuff in for your friend?? Will have rumage through later and get back to you.

FlyMeToDunoon · 24/09/2009 10:18

Thanks.
Right housework and ebay posting to do...
This after I am taking the bus up to the hospital with DD2 for her pre-op app.
Fun!

JigglyPiggy · 24/09/2009 10:34

morning everyone

Pebbles that bee set is lovely! so is the jacket - does she do adult sizes?!
I hate to say it but im not 100% sure on the bee. Its only advantage at the moment is that its the only buggy i can use the car seat on. I miss the urban! I am thinking of trying a 2nd hand streety

Sal - I didnt think we would get the surestart grant either but its not just the income/benefits you are on it is also the level of tax credits you will receive. Therefore if your tax credits will be above the basic rate once baby is here you can apply upto 3 mths after the birth. Afterall it does'nt hurt to apply for it as what have you got to lose? I didnt apply with DD as thought we would not qualify but only realised with DS that we would have qualified with both pregnancies!!

carrielou2007 · 24/09/2009 10:34

Is that for her grommits?

Have just washed hall and kitchen floor and hung out second lot of washing. Dd is still in her pj's and we have to go in about 5 mins. More sun here so out for nice walk after MW.

FlyMeToDunoon · 24/09/2009 11:02

Yes grommits and poss adenoids.
I have emptied the dishwasher and filled it again and wrapped and addressed two parcels.
Tidying now.
Yes lovely set pebbles. You like your black and white!

claret1980 · 24/09/2009 11:08

Hi all!

There must be somthing about today. My ds1 has been a monster, super tantruming. Dd was the same, not wanting to get dressed for school etc. ds1 & 2 have both fallen asleep. Not sure thats a good thing this early in the morning. Hope the weather stays fine this afternoon.

Nicola, got the kickers, thank you they are great!!!

pebbles79 · 24/09/2009 11:25

My DD was like that yesterday Claret, just kept coming up to me and screaming at me!!

She loves her new coat, little poser!!

5inthebed · 24/09/2009 12:02

The coat and Bee set are lovely Pebs. Your DD is lovely.

Had a mock driving test today, as my real one is coming up soon. I passed it with only 4 minor faults . Lets hope I get the same on my real one.
