Well here it's done just on rank, Captains and below = 3 bed, majors and above = 4 or 5 bed. There is no storage at all, it's VERY small really. So noone has a wooden kichen for sale I'm thinking that'll be his main Christmas present.

When we moved into our house I cried for 3 days, coming from a huge German house to this was...hard! The estate manager said he would live here it was so run down

sal1309 · 23/09/2009 21:01

that must of been awful. Its weird how the houses change through the forces its so silly lol.

I will keep my ears open for you on the kitchen front but dont know anyone with one.

Yeah it was in a really bad way, the people before went AWOL so all the kit had been rotting in the garden for 2 years, maggots, rats, frogs everywhere! The windows didn't shut properly, the carpet had holes/burn marks, firplace hanging off the wall!

When he gets to Major it's like you become a different person and they give you a lovely house, but til then...HELL!

DH is really anti the kitchen, says it's very girly! I like it though

scattykatty · 23/09/2009 21:08

NO! Pics please!

FlyMeToDunoon · 23/09/2009 21:10

Hello all.
I am bored too. I wish there was some period drama on or just a CSI repeat.
Vigour is on it's way though so that's something to look forward to.

5inthebed · 23/09/2009 21:21

I'm bored as well. DH in bed reading a book and nothing on telly. Need to stay up late as it's my lie in tomorrow, and don't want to get up too early. Not having a great time sleeping lately, so a late night is a must!

SK, the house sounds awful .

We need pics on the bargain stokke please!

that kitchen is lovely. We have a plastic one that was my eldest's, the little ones love it. DS actually is the one who spends the most time playing there (16 months) he is always waling round with plates and cups, you will get fed up of drinking pretend tea though.

sal1309 · 23/09/2009 21:28

omg scatty thats awful, ours was rather flee ridden ect. here once you hit Warrent officer or above you are ok but thats a long way off for us.

I want to see pics of the bargain stokke lol

DogAgain, the link doesn't work.

My DH hates our boys playing with girly toys, but DS1 and DS2 have both had toy prams, and ds3 will be getting one as well.

The Stokke looks lovely . Very nice.

Your DC are gorgeous. The photos of your older two on the steps of that old builing are lovely. Were you on holiday there, or is it local?

scattykatty · 23/09/2009 21:53

Oh it's nice...they're still odd though! You have one of those Stokke cots too

I can't believe you have a speedy, vibe, cam, stokke and the stokke cot. JEALOUS!

Oh I'm infamous on my school run. The mams were all in shock this week as I didn't have a new pram! Can I borrow your stokke just to keep their tongues wagging?

So is the lovely sea view near to you as well?

scattykatty · 23/09/2009 22:04

I think I repel bargains I never win anything on ebay and never get bargains here apart from from Nicola

I think in my whole house I have about 5 things I didn't pay full price for new Why do the bargains run away!

pebbles79 · 23/09/2009 22:07

Can't believe you got a Stokke so cheap . That little kitchen is lovely but I also love the wooden one from Ikea.

pebbles79 · 23/09/2009 22:09
