had a look at the other ice mpxs on ebay and all have same chassis/ wheels as this one

5inthebed · 21/09/2009 20:45

I think the chassis is the right one for the pram, as the ice ones have the silvery looking trays, which yours has.

Glad DH is home Dis.

What can I sell to get a really nice pram? I want something lovely. Really want an oyster!

carrielou2007 · 21/09/2009 20:58

Great looking pram and a great price!! Maybe she was just a fellow pramaholic and has many to choose from!!

maxybrown · 21/09/2009 21:03

No not parting with any! Have my beloved Nipper, little triumph and now my rear facer for winter.

Just have few bits of clothes/shoes to get together to sell.

Off to watch waking the dead now

5inthebed · 21/09/2009 21:21

Dunoon, I need to buy some more tape to box your pram, will get back to you tomorrow on dimansions for courier for Wednesday

nicolamumof3 · 21/09/2009 21:30

dunoon, they do it in age order so they said, so luka was due 2nd down and tate third but in practice they weren't luka went about 10.20 and Tate about 10.30ish. Tate kept asking for a drink bless him. yes they were starving, yes take food, it was v.clean had great play room, staff lovely. prepare for all day tho. the anaethetist that tate had was fabby really put him at ease played lots of games made it really stress free. Well as much as it can be, i don't care what anyone says no matter how minor the op it is scary seeing dc go under i hate it.

Ok 5in.
Thank you Nicola. DD being 5 then might have to wait ages.

Did you cry? I think I might.

maxybrown · 21/09/2009 22:07

ooh yes Nicola, not a big op I know, but I wouldn't like to see DS go under

FlyMeToDunoon · 21/09/2009 22:09

maxy I have replied about the duvet cover. DD's duvet measures around 112 x 126 cm

maxybrown · 21/09/2009 22:14

Ooh I just replied back on there....spooky!

BexieID · 21/09/2009 23:17

When Tom had his op they didn't do it in age order. I think they did it in order of what they were having done maybe? DP went into the anaesthetic room with Tom, as only one of us could go in. DP came out crying. Only the 2nd or 3rd time i've ever seen him cry!

We took a big coolbag with snacks/sarnies for us. They recommended fruit pastilles for Tom, as he had his tonsils out.

nicolamumof3 · 22/09/2009 07:18

i didn't cry no, as it was all so calm and relaxed which was good. i was so relieved when they said they were in recovery tho.

Nicola, you still about? Do you know if i can use any JoJo codes in the shope?

FlyMeToDunoon · 22/09/2009 08:03

Well DD2 has been throwing up since 5 this morning.
Pr op due on Thursday so hopefully a bit better by then. Wouldn't want her to spread aything nasty around a hospital.
Might have to reschedule.

nicolamumof3 · 22/09/2009 08:42

Maxy don't think you can? they used to do a £5 voucher in the catalogue but don't think its in the latest one. im really annoyed as they've increased the price of their little comforter bunnies from £6each/2 for £10 to £9 each!!! gggrrr.

maxybrown · 22/09/2009 08:50

Ok thanks for that Nicola, everything seems to be going up and up in price!

Glad boys ok. You still not great?

maxybrown · 22/09/2009 08:51

Oh and hope it doesn't do the rounds for you Dunoon, I hate sick more than anything.....

FlyMeToDunoon · 22/09/2009 09:13

I am usually terrible with sick and start retching too but have coped ok.
DD is now up, playing with the cat and saying she is hungry
But I'm not giving her anything except water yet.

pebbles79 · 22/09/2009 09:14

Nicola, so glad to hear the boys are ok and not too traumatised.

I'm down to just my Bee now, sold my Ziko yesterday , really need to get something else - want a plain black stroller and think I might want a Black XT (never been a Mac fan too) but think they're beyond my budget.

Got the docs today, think my wound is infected .

nicolamumof3 · 22/09/2009 09:43

Tate was sick at least four times at hospital yesterday, doesn't really phase me now after three kids! once all done me and i was wearing a white top!! nice eh.

Pebbles sorry to hear that, hope you're ok? what about a Silver Cross Pop vogue? they're all black and much cheaper than XT? i didn't personally like my pop but have been tempted by the vogue i must say!!

Maxy i just feel full of cold blame it being stuck in that stifling hospital yesterday i was trying to open the windows!

FlyMeToDunoon · 22/09/2009 11:16

Sickness still fazes me even after 3 children!
However DD2 has had some cereal and a drink and is now asleep.

5inthebed · 22/09/2009 12:11

Look what I've just won . Bargain!

Hope your DD is feeling better Dunoon.

Pebs, is your wound like a caesarian wound? Hope it isn't infected.

FlyMeToDunoon · 22/09/2009 12:17

Yay bargain!

pebbles79 · 22/09/2009 12:34

Yep, more or less the exact same as a c-section wound although think they maybe need to cut through more? It is infected, got antibiotics and some dressings and the doc had to squeeze the pus out of it which was painfull and eurgh!!
