5ITB - total bargain I am now thinking about an MPX for when DB4 is here I could keep it in the house for he/she to sleep in and out in the garden save getting the P&T all out.

Nicola - glad your boys are on the mend, I can hardly take mine ot the doctors so cannot begin to imagine what is was like for you.

Hope your DD2 is better soon as well Dunoon

Haven't bought a new bag yet still deciding but I so want one

5inthebed · 22/09/2009 12:52

Ouch Pebs. I've had 3 c-sections, but luckily never got an infection. Hope it clears up quick. DO you need to keep it dry? I found my scars felt damp for a few weeks and lying down airing them really helped.

SK, how many weeks are you now? Are you going to find out what you're having?

Carrie, I found a blue moses basket/carrycot fitted sheet today if you want it? For some reason I can't fin any fleece blankets. I had loads as well!

FlyMeToDunoon · 22/09/2009 12:57

DP's brother had an apendix wond that got infected and he had that sugar treatmnet. Worked.

My stomach is like a road map because I've had 3 c-sections too, that's 4 lots of surgery to my stomach in 7 years!!

Have been looking at the SC Pop Nicola, I might opt for that as will only be for occasional use anyway.

nicolamumof3 · 22/09/2009 13:31

i love my black xt but i use it every day not really worth it if you don't imo, and if you don't really feel the maclaren love lol!! i wouldn't be without mine. just put nipper footmuff on, its so lovely, really thick and cosy for winter, may put buggysnuggle on for now tho as don't need a big footmuff atm, its so warm in the afternoons here atm.

Its really windy up here. Had to put the raincover down on ds3's pram. He took his first steps yesterday. He was so chuffe with himself

horsemadgal · 22/09/2009 13:48

Anyone had a Stokke?
I thought I had tried everything I wanted to, but now tempted by one of these.

BexieID · 22/09/2009 13:55

Windy here too. Tom demanded the raincover on when I took him on the 5 min walk to the car to goto nursery, lol. Really need to try him on buggyboard.

nicolamumof3 · 22/09/2009 13:58

if you don't want to use a double you need to get him out of pushchair now bex, i didn't want to use a double when i had luka, poor tate was only 18m old!! but i had to obviously.

wow 5in any piccies, thats so cute.

5inthebed · 22/09/2009 14:05

No pics yet. WIll try get him standing later for one. He's a bit grumpy today, his eye teeth are cutting through.

BexieID · 22/09/2009 14:16

I know nicola, but when he refuses to walk he just sits/lays down on the pavement, which then means you end up carrying him! Or dragging him along like I had to on friday when he went bursurk in McDs and I only had one free hand to drag him by the hood by . Tom loves walking, but not in wind/rain. Oh, and he complained the car seat had got a bit wet when I was waiting for him to climb into it yesterday! He's a wee minx. Just hope bubs isn't!

nicolamumof3 · 22/09/2009 14:19

you are going to need to find a good double then, what does he do if you just walk off? does he still just sit there, maybe i've been lucky then? took tate to 3.2yr to walk any distance and im meaning a good half hour of walking, which is when i gave up double. he's four in December and walks most places he does however frequently jump in buggy when luka's got out to walk.

I won a E3 for £115 that was local to my parents and they are bringing it up at half term. I'm usually in too much of a hurry to walk away, but DP has and sometimes it works. The P&T is a back up as need to try him on board. My friend gave me one to try as the one I got you can't use the brake on MB, lol.

nicolamumof3 · 22/09/2009 14:53

does it work if you flip the board up then put the back on bex? thats what i had to do on nipper?

OP posts:
horsemadgal · 22/09/2009 15:00

I've not seen any locally when out and about but there is one for sale near me.

FlyMeToDunoon · 22/09/2009 15:01

sal1309 · 22/09/2009 16:49

horsemadgal · 22/09/2009 16:58

Any excuse, right?

5inthebed · 22/09/2009 16:58
