Great Bargain Maxy!

AvadaKedavra · 03/09/2009 10:19

I actually have one of the cheapo red tesco ones lol and apart from it not reclining, it's fab for an emergnecy 3 buses in one day buggy

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 03/09/2009 10:19

glad you like it maxy, they are fine for occasional use, i had a coffee one it was like brand new it was nice.

maxy what was lenght of those jeans if there over 12" inside i'll have them (will go check on other thread now!)

Knickers0nMaHead · 03/09/2009 10:24

I have to sell my loola oh and lost the front off the stars bs already

maxybrown · 03/09/2009 10:25

I think they are Nicola!

lol about cheap red buggy. The triumph will be a BIT more than an emergency buggy. I don't drive so use pushchair all the time.

It isn't like new but not scabby or mistreated and like we said a bargain at £15. Oh and it's red

I got woken up this morning by my doorbell.....it was 6 something....when I went down there was no one there and my bell was still dinging!!! Bloomin thing.

nicolamumof3 · 03/09/2009 10:46

maxy as you know all mac covers including hood will go in machine.

i love those red star bs. can't wait to get my retro spot one from ebay.

maxybrown · 03/09/2009 10:56

How strange Nicola, I was just coming on here to ask you about washing the covers!! Going to do it today. What do you put them on/in? You put hood in pillowcase don't you?

Yeah I'll bet that buggysnuggle will look fab on the XT!!

Ahhh, the pjs just came thanks AND my last free bounty offer pic from pixi foto. It is the best one yet of him! Gorgeous. I might even have to show you all

nicolamumof3 · 03/09/2009 11:18

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/09/2009 11:22

kellybelx · 03/09/2009 11:26

nicolamumof3 · 03/09/2009 11:28

yes i have dunoon, might see if anyone local to collect? can't decide now if i want one tho tbh!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/09/2009 11:31

Perhaps the moment has gone.

kelly I think some folks just don't get the whole notion of honouring a commitment to sell/buy and making the effort. It must be very annoying for you.

Knickers0nMaHead · 03/09/2009 11:35

Think I have lost it in skegness! Dont know whether to keep e3 and sell sport or keep sport and sell e3

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/09/2009 11:40

But Knickers that is awfull. Can you get it back somehow? Advertise, phone shops or something.

nicolamumof3 · 03/09/2009 11:44

that is awful knickers i'd be gutted!!

i think e3 seemed lighter when i breifly had one, the recline on sports doubles is not worth it imo, and adj handle if you small or tall otherwise not much in it is there?

Knickers0nMaHead · 03/09/2009 11:55

I'm not fussed about the adjustable handle, the e3 is just right for me. Have rung hotel to see if have left it there and it isnt. Bugger.

maxybrown · 03/09/2009 12:02

Nicola, did you see me asking about the mac covers please?

scattykatty · 03/09/2009 14:48

Oh crap I was going to order the Baby Boden red jersey coat yesterday but left it today and now it's OOS for 11 weeks! I'm so annoyed with myself, I've ordered it in the vain hope someone will return one! I got him 2 pairs of the checked boys baggies and the jumper with the fox on too, winter clothes are soooo cute! Sadly the penguin scarf/hat, the grey duffle and the cords with the stars on the knees are still OOS I wish noone else liked Boden

Nicola how much were you after for the JL jumper you have for sale? It does look nice

Back in Wilts now...more is the shame!

nicolamumof3 · 03/09/2009 15:09

maxy so sorry, i meant to reply woollens wash with just normal powder, i put hood in pillowcase it will come out like new, and dry overnight!

SK with boden you need to sign up to the previews anything nice you need to order when it comes out as they do sell out so fast. i love the duffle in both colours but think it would be too small for luka he's two already. i wish they did 2-3 in baby stuff (well last year they only went 12/18m so i spose im lucky!!) got the cords with stars on and the baby jeans in bright green cord.

jumper £3 del with the other tops SK im off to p.o tomorrow.

Just been out with Micralite.

Thoughts so far...

It is lovely, only critisism the brake lead where it wraps round behind footrest the cover has split.

The handle damage - what damage?

I dont know if it will suit as holiday pushchair, the recline is slight and I want him to be able to sleep in the evenings as we wont want to go to our room early.

VERY easy to push one handed and to recline and to put up and down. But found myself kicking it when I walked. Very small basket, hood very small

Have managed to get a Loola, which is difficult to push, put up and down and is heavy, but he could sleep in it very well and sit in it for snacks. Hood is more than ample.

What to do?? like the Micralite as a walk pushchair - apart from when it trips me up

Do I sell both and keep looking?

5inthebed · 03/09/2009 16:19

so at you watching the time travellers wife Maxy. I really want to go see that .

maxybrown · 03/09/2009 16:23
