Morning guys wow I've never managed to be the one on at the start of the month

OP posts:
mum2GKH · 03/09/2009 16:27

well that was bad english, meant to say I hate her having a gap between top and trousers!

nicolamumof3 · 03/09/2009 16:27

1leg i really would get a techno they are fab for older toddlers, huge hood and seat easy recline, but i think you find the foot release tricky don't you?

5in only 12-18m i have are thomas trousers and cardi on trail im afraid.

nicolamumof3 · 03/09/2009 16:30

he is sooooo scrumptious maxy!! he reminds me so much of luka (a slimmer versions) fab dunga's too!! luka's feet are tanned like that!

maxybrown · 03/09/2009 16:30

Thanks 1leg. I was just so chuffed with the picture.....didn't want to come across as all showy off

People struggle to get those tops in age 2 3 mum2GKH so I bet age 3 4 will be rather difficult!

1legmummy · 03/09/2009 16:35

Yep I think Techno as well, but I would struggle. Maybe I could use my hand?

Can someone trial it for me? Dont use your feet at all to open or close.

x

nicolamumof3 · 03/09/2009 16:38

i'll do it now 1leg!

maxybrown · 03/09/2009 16:40

1leg I frequently closed my last XLR with just my hands definitely. For some reason I had trouble doing it with my feet last time!

nicolamumof3 · 03/09/2009 16:41

yes quite easily done. holding back of chassis put down and back up with the other hand, no feet involved . can you try it out in mothercare as they always have xt's in there?

1legmummy · 03/09/2009 16:45

Thankyou - Yes will have a look. Oh dear my pushchair stash (which had dwindled) seems to be growing overnight!!

maxy - that xt you were looking at as well do you think that is ok?

1legmummy · 03/09/2009 16:49

what about this one?

maxybrown · 03/09/2009 16:50

Thanks Nic. I love the little tanned feet

ileg - I agree with that price you offered her. I was going to offer £30. It is the slightly better XT IMO as I prefer those smooth wheels but have you had the pic of the back wheels? Needs a good ole clean in general tbh so I think on here £30 plus courier is fair.

maxybrown · 03/09/2009 16:51

oops I meant 1leg not ileg duh! jey would that make it like irobot then do you think?

maxybrown · 03/09/2009 16:54

here 1leg

1legmummy · 03/09/2009 16:57

ok thanks, the covers come off do they? I did not want to take the mick.

I think ileg is great a name change me thinks

1legmummy · 03/09/2009 17:02

I saw that one does the hood extend?

What are the differences between them all.

So does everyone agree the Loola is probably a bad option?

x

maxybrown · 03/09/2009 17:04

yes they do 1leg. Why not compromise then and offer £35?

1legmummy · 03/09/2009 17:05

i really like this

maxybrown · 03/09/2009 17:06

loola is bad yes!
I don't know when the extended hoods came in, sure Nicola would know.

I love the XLR as it's the biggest one, but wasn't using it, hence my cheapy Triumph instead

5in I sold the SC - yay!!

1legmummy · 03/09/2009 17:13

Have you sold your XLR?

Loola for sale!!!!

Thanks for your advice, my Husband will be please he thought Loola was very heavy

maxybrown · 03/09/2009 17:34

Yes sold it 1leg. My DH hated the Loola too.

nicolamumof3 · 03/09/2009 17:37

1leg we warned you about loola!! they are no good imo. extending hood was 07 onwards so the one with the single spoke wheels it could have been on earlier models too not sure. always ask, that ebay one is v.old, doesn't look like it would have extending hood to me.

maxybrown · 03/09/2009 17:37

1leg you have a reply on the xt thread

kellybelx · 03/09/2009 17:40

i dont like the look of Loola's at all tbh lol...my next neighbour but one has got a branad new black one for her newborn and still up close not keen on it lol...

kellybelx · 03/09/2009 17:41

oh i really like that de la prada footmuff too!!

nicolamumof3 · 03/09/2009 17:48

i love the look and idea of loola's shame they just don't work in practice.
