Morning guys wow I've never managed to be the one on at the start of the month

OP posts:

Balamory, I have had 3 Nippers - 1 was very very well used but not a thing wrong on it! It was 9 years old and like I said very well used. I think main thing that goes is fabric when they have been very used.....oh and the foam on the handle bar. I have only had fixed wheel version though hth?

nicolamumof3 · 01/09/2009 13:45

btw you can buy new fabrics and hoods from out n about. about £40 i think? but i spose that would be costly on a double.

Knickers0nMaHead · 01/09/2009 13:47

It's an E3 bexie.

BexieID · 01/09/2009 14:06

Bugger, forgot to put washing on, lol. Could still do Toms sheets.

Knickers, i'll have a think, as will need a doubles seat and cocoon.

maxy, this XLR any good? It's the town where I work so could get it.

horsemadgal · 01/09/2009 15:10

Bexie, CarGirl has a doubles seat for sale but it's navy.

BexieID · 01/09/2009 15:16

Do you know how much off hand? Blue and orange are opposites, so compliment each other nicely .

claret1980 · 01/09/2009 15:24

Oh Bexie I wish the timing was better. I will be sell my P&T after Christmas.

1legmummy · 01/09/2009 15:30

cheap maclaren
be quick tho near st Albans

Balamorybaby · 01/09/2009 15:32

Thanks Nicola and Maxy that's very helpful.

Balamorybaby · 01/09/2009 15:38

Another quick question please

Do you think it would be acceptable to send a pushchair in its travel bag? Would that be enough protection and does anyone know if the courier would accept it like that? Has anyone done that/received one like that? Thanks

maxybrown · 01/09/2009 15:41

I wouldn't be too happy about that Balamory....but I know lots of people have sent them in bin bags and bubble wrap. I guess a Nipper would stand up to be chucked about quite well.....

Thanks Bexie, I reckon that will go out of my budget though.....but who knows!!

I think DS might be starting with croup

nicolamumof3 · 01/09/2009 15:44

really poor little man thats horrible. nice steamy shower/bath.

im not familiar with nipper storage bag, being a double even more so i would want it properly boxed tbh.

1leg have you got your micralite yet?

1legmummy · 01/09/2009 15:54

not yet, its being collected today for delivery tomorrow. and she found the raincover

Got a feeling I am going to find folding difficult though

BexieID · 01/09/2009 16:08

Micralite folding for me is a breeze compared to the XT

maxybrown · 01/09/2009 16:09

Yeah....not 100% certain but all signs are there Will stick him in steamy bath later!

Nicola - have you had jeans from Boden before for the boys?

1legmummy · 01/09/2009 16:18

Thanks Bexie, thats good to know. Thats what put me off the XT, I cant use my foot - my leg falls off

maxybrown · 01/09/2009 16:25

lol sorry not sure if it was supposed to but that made me laugh

I always find the xlr a bit off a faff tbh and Dh never got to grips with it, even though in theory it is simple!

nicolamumof3 · 01/09/2009 16:26

yes do you mean the baby ones or the normal boys sizes?

i can't remember micralite i thought you needed foot tho? i hope it suits tho as supposed to be great to push. what courier is it? if dhl you will prob have tomorrow!!

1legmummy · 01/09/2009 16:27

I hope so !!!!!!!!!!!

Only way to deal with it, its even funnier when I have a drink, although my Husband does not agree

maxybrown · 01/09/2009 16:28

Boys sizes....Nic

1legmummy · 01/09/2009 16:30

seems a bargain but she wont let me organise collection

Thought I could try both then, bargain for someone though Maclaren XT for £15.00.

Is that too good to be true??

BexieID · 01/09/2009 16:31

Nursery had Didicars, now I want one for Tom, lol.

maxybrown · 01/09/2009 16:36

1legmummy · 01/09/2009 16:39
