Morning guys wow I've never managed to be the one on at the start of the month

OP posts:
BexieID · 07/09/2009 09:50

My parents picked up the P&T yesterday. It needs a good clean and mum was tempted to knock her down in price, lol. So, does anyone know how to get the covers of an E3 that my parents will understand? Also sounds like the raincover is a single one and theres 2 rips in the seat that mum says she'll sort out. The muff looks unused.

mumofdjandbabies · 07/09/2009 10:08

aw thats great bexie boo

scarletkitty thats awful I have gone right off clarks too
never convinced they fit the shoes properly I go to stomp now

claret1980 · 07/09/2009 10:11

A good scrub and the P&T will look great Bexie.

The sun is out here so going to get some washing out.

FlyMeToDunoon · 07/09/2009 10:32

Oh Nicola do tell about your wobbly in the shoe shop.
Was it a shop in St J which starts with an STAM.......?
DDs school shoes are from Clarks and I must say the girl seemed very competant and the fit was confirmed by her manager.
They are off today. It was loverly to see them go into school in their uniforms. DD1 had them both dressed at 7.00 am even though they had had instuctions to eat their breakfast first so as not to get chocolate cereal milk down the front of new school dresses and cardigans.

horsemadgal · 07/09/2009 10:38

I got DS1's school shoes in Brantano this time. The girl was fab and must say they had more Clarks shoes than Clarks did!

FlyMeToDunoon · 07/09/2009 10:47

Oh lord I should put some washing in the machine. It is very sticky here.

nicolamumof3 · 07/09/2009 10:57

yes v.warm
maxy i will email you pics of all sheets £5 del for ikea ones and £6.50 for the mothercare?

Yes its the shop you are thinking of Dunoon, just went mental at some other mothers in there and their unruly kids im sure i told you all about it?!!

just back from big tesco shop had to have a cuppa before i attempt putting away then it will soon be lunch and then tate has to go off for his first afternoon sesh at nursery!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 07/09/2009 11:25

I don't remember you telling Nicola but it's possible. My memory is terrible.
I did get a bit stressed in there once because there were lots of us and some pushy mother just said she was next. However I did not let that happen as I had waited ages!
I don't go there now because I wasn't particularly impressed with the fit of the shoes we came out with and even in the sale they were expensive.

mumofdjandbabies · 07/09/2009 11:29

nic remember the long slv bibs you sent i am in love with the one with orange sleeves its soooooo cute

nicolamumof3 · 07/09/2009 11:30

no im that impressed with it, well there were these mothers in there all dressed up with their bugaboo's crammed in there, with the kids just running riot running up and down slamming into the fish tank, tate was actually frightened!! we couldn't hear a thing so i told the assistant to get the shoe off tates foot as we had to get out, i then went right up to the mothers faces and told them exactly what i thought and stormed out slamming the door as hard as i could!! i prefer russell and bromley now

just missed a micralite on ebay went for £1 something

want quest to sell so i can get nipper but still a bit short even then as i trans out a load of money into my account so need to sell, sell sell!!

5inthebed · 07/09/2009 13:21

Shame about the micralite Nicola. Was it local as well?

DS2 had a great first day at school, although his 1:1 wasn't there for me to hand him over. Couldn't leave him either as no teacher in the class. Hopefully we will work it out. It is only the first day after all.

I REALLY want a rearfacer!

nicolamumof3 · 07/09/2009 13:23

5inthebed · 07/09/2009 13:51

Is Tate doing 5 afternoons a week? Can't remember what you had said.

Just had SS on the phone as well, we are getting 6 hours a week respite during the school hols! With immediate affect, so the October hols. COuld have done with it during the summer hols, but not to worry, it'll be in lace for the next one.

nicolamumof3 · 07/09/2009 13:54

no he's doing 4 but may see how much to up it to five after xmas? he gets v.tired in the afternoons at home and never wants to do much so i think afternoon will be good for him.

Thats fab news about the respite care will be good for all of you.

5inthebed · 07/09/2009 14:05

I do feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I was dreading the October hols.

Fingers crossed he gets 5! DS2 is falling asleep on the settee, wonder what he'll be like when he does full days!

scattykatty · 07/09/2009 14:32
