Morning guys wow I've never managed to be the one on at the start of the month

OP posts:
5inthebed · 04/09/2009 21:20

I'm looking for 12-18 clothes sk

I've got a gorgeous Rocha little Rocha set ds3 got when he was christened, and he looks so lovely in it, but it's getting too small on him now . I really don't want to let it go. I might go buy him the next size up

scattykatty · 04/09/2009 21:25

Well I'm being more ruthless, down to 4 jumpers

I'm keeping the stuff for now 5in for the poss number 2 but I still feel sad that my PFB will never wear them again.

Knickers0nMaHead · 04/09/2009 21:27

I have kept a few of dd's newborn clothes

maxybrown · 04/09/2009 21:45

I kept a few of DS's newborn bits too knickers.

I am soooooooooooo glad now that I don't have a smuch as I thought I did!!

Still, I have only just started on winter things and jumpers aren't really bought at all so I guess 5 would seem like an awful lot to me!

BexieID · 04/09/2009 21:47

I got Tom the reddish Boden baggies last year and everyone thought they were PJ bottoms, lol. Think they will still fit him this year.

Guess who won the P&T for £114.32? . Just need to arrange for my dad to pick it up for me (and hope they have room in their car when the visit next month).

maxybrown · 04/09/2009 21:52

Bexie that's waht Dh said about them, he wasn't very impressed

nicolamumof3 · 04/09/2009 21:59

DH quite likes them, i love them for cosy/comfort factor. they were lovely in the snow last year tucked into boots and nice hand knitted cardi! fab.

great buy bexie you can't lose on that.

scattykatty · 04/09/2009 22:00

Well my 5 jumpers are his for this winter now. Won't need anymore I don't think

PT win is excellent, well done!

maxybrown · 04/09/2009 22:01

I like them too......think the Next red/black check ones really look like pj's. I am almost certain in store today they didn't have the pockets on the side like they show online though.....

Ooh I love hand knitted cardi's......who can knit then?

5inthebed · 04/09/2009 22:02

Well done Bexie! Great price.

I kept ALL of ds1's clothes from newborn to 12 months, and reused them for DS2. Wasn't going to have any more kids so gave them all to a charity shop. DS3 has a lot to answer for lol.

scattykatty · 04/09/2009 22:15

Yeah I'll be doing a lot of reusing I think. I hate it when things don't get enough use! 5in is DS3 def your last then, or are you keeping all his stuff?

maxybrown · 04/09/2009 22:18

I started straight away apart from some little bits i wanted to keep. We knew we were having just the one.

BexieID · 04/09/2009 22:25

I've kept alot of Toms clothes, mainly ones that were bought by other people or things I really liked. Will be selling them for sure if I have a girl, lol.

Hope the P&T is ok. Have to get dad to ask them to show him how it opens/closes and have a wee push, lol. Just need a cocoon.

nicolamumof3 · 04/09/2009 23:29

i recently sold the boys little terry cotton baby gro's and cried when i packed them up!

kellybelx · 04/09/2009 23:55

minnie a few weeks ago had about 20 pairs of jeans!! i had a problem buying her jeans for some reason..sold some off to make room in her draws and now she only seems to have 2 pairs left :|..really need to sort all their clothes out and everything in the chest of drawers properly...we still havent put up over wardrobe since moving (9-10wks ago i think) and our stuff is in their drawers! argh!!

BexieID · 05/09/2009 06:10

LOL, kelly. I moved to Scotland just over 3 years ago and still have some of my stuff in drawers in Toms room .

nicolamumof3 · 05/09/2009 06:48

Morning all!!

sal1309 · 05/09/2009 08:11

good morning all.

well still got my zia

managed to get my tyres down to £190 though . Hoping to do a carboot tomorrow as majorly skint lol. Dh has sold one of his old surfboards so that should cover dd's party .

I am really happy though as got dd on waiting list for swimming lessons so should start in november but god they are so expensive lol

FlyMeToDunoon · 05/09/2009 09:40

Morning all. Congratulations on the P&T Bexie!
I must sort through clothes today but I am of the two jumper persuasion. 2 cardis, one pair of jeans, maybe 4 pairs soft trousers. Of course girls then have the option of skirts and dresses so it all evens up.
Have a good day.
Nice and sunny here atm.

5inthebed · 05/09/2009 09:50

DS3 is definitely my last. Had my tubes tied same time as having him. Don't want anymore! I've got my hands full as it is.

I want DS1 to start swimming lessons, but there is a waiting list at our local swimming pool. Been waiting ages!

carrielou2007 · 05/09/2009 10:55

Morning all.

Great price of P and T Bexie.

I have so many clothes for dd, I sell them to a local lady when I'm done and last week she had 15 tops, 6 jumpers and that was less than half as dd still wearing 2-3

I had so much when she was tiny, if I ever saw anything in Boots or Next in the sale in next size up I bought it. 6-9 months I think she had over 30 tops!

I still have my same favourite jeans from Next I bought about 4 years ago. I hate clothes shopping for me as I'm tall, with big boobs, big bum but tiny waist so nothing ever fits me

scattykatty · 05/09/2009 11:27

Wow that is a lot of clothes! I feel DS is actually missing out

I've been ironing for over 2 hours, sorting out all the DS's wardrobe, looking very bare now but at least everything in their is the right size, season, clean and ironed.

maxybrown · 05/09/2009 11:30

Sk......I might have some information for you........

scattykatty · 05/09/2009 11:31

OOOOOOHHHHHHH! Tell tell tell! Did I win the lottery?

maxybrown · 05/09/2009 11:33

Red boden duffle......
