carrielou2007 · 04/09/2009 17:14

Afternoon!! Have had no internet at all and now I have 14 pages to catch up on!!!!! Going back for a catch up

5inthebed · 04/09/2009 17:32

Oh those are cute! I can just see DS3 in some. Anyone selling any in 12-18 mnths?

FlyMeToDunoon · 04/09/2009 17:38

Hello.
All these boys. No girly stuff going?
I will have to have a rummage through my boxes to see what I need for the DDs for autumn/winter.
DP and I will have been together 20 years next year. DD1 let slip that he is thinking of asking me to marry him then.

I'm no good at buying for myself. Went on the next site and got the DDs tights, socks and school blouses but cancelled the boots for me when I got to the checkout. Thats my usual routine. It's much easier to get nice things for the children.

nicolamumof3 · 04/09/2009 17:51

its not just me dunoon then!! thats cheered me up, but depressed me at the same time, surely we deserve clothes that make us feel nice i spend an age making sure not only the kids look gorgeous/cute/cool whatever but that they are correct temperature, in natural fabrics, material doesn't rub etc etc etc!! what about ME?!!

put a wanted up 5in for the baggies, or get those next ones!!

oh i heard from Maclaren today, she is finally getting back to normal thats good isn't it

FlyMeToDunoon · 04/09/2009 17:55

Good news on Maclaren.
We should form a pact that we shall all choose and actually purchase something[s] nice for ourselves. No sending it back or if we do we must buy something else!

maxybrown · 04/09/2009 18:00

Didn't go to JL SK - going tomorrow. Will look for that coat. I am after some striped pjs for Ds - had my eye on them last time, lovely! You can shout about those cords Sk - I'm really not sure about them anyway......but I may order a pair as they are in stock

Took DH into Next to look at those trousers.....he said"I thought he was ok for pyjamas at the moment" and it was sais with no sarcasm either.....he put me off!! Grrr. Still no pants for DS then!

nicolamumof3 · 04/09/2009 18:23

lol DH makes no comments on the boys clothes bless him.

im currently trying to dress all three for my friends wedding in two weeks.

i've found in cupboard (as you do...or is it just me?!) a brand new white shirt rollup sleeve kind with a black cotton pinstripe waistcoat sort of smart casual...was thinking of teaming it with these as both boys have new smart/casual shoes in tan so thought rather than black? luka has waistcoat and i can get him shirt so will only be £22 for two outfits not bad? or too casual do you think?

nicolamumof3 · 04/09/2009 18:25

like this for tom

maxybrown · 04/09/2009 18:49

No, nice that, not too casual and nice for Tom too

nicolamumof3 · 04/09/2009 19:08

thanks sorry for all the links. i've just been upstairs looking for a navy top to wear with star knee cords, i haven't got any for luka, i think im getting clothing obsessed (instead of pushchairs maybe?) right bath time!

5inthebed · 04/09/2009 19:35

Thats lovely Nicola. I bought Aaron something like that for christmas last year, but it was spiderman. Was lovely, think he still has it somewhere amongst all the clothes he has outgrown.

scattykatty · 04/09/2009 19:51

Just spent two hours sorting out DS's wardrobe/drawers. He now has 36 tops in active circulation after I took out all the 12-18 month ones sorted them into short and long sleve and then into colour order About 15 jumpers, and about 20 pairs of trousers/shorts.... Is that a lot? feels like it but when it's all hanging there is doesn't look like hardly anything

Knackered now, make a tuna bake for supper and catching up with MN

scattykatty · 04/09/2009 19:54

Oh and Nicola, those clothes from Next are lovely your boys will look so cute! Might upstage the bride

nicolamumof3 · 04/09/2009 19:59

Thank you think i will get those ordered as its only two weeks away. i have a couple of outfits i could wear so we should be ok, looking forward to it, as its in beautiful church then reception at spa hotel which is lovely (and where we stayed on our wedding night)

scattykatty · 04/09/2009 20:04

I bet your childrens clothes are much better organised than mine, I normally find things after DS has grown out of them or it's the wrong season

maxybrown · 04/09/2009 20:15

15 jumpers I thought I was clothes obsessed!

scattykatty · 04/09/2009 20:29

That's soooo much less than many of my friend round here! Plus mine are all Boden/next/M&S there's are Dior/Petit Bateau I think we are the tramps of this area!

scattykatty · 04/09/2009 20:30

their's ooops!

nicolamumof3 · 04/09/2009 20:34

That is alot, i've cut right down on luka's as i just don't have the space with three of them!! But Tate still seems to have ALOT of clothes, i wouldn't like to count his!!

scattykatty · 04/09/2009 21:17

I think too many of them are too small really but it's hard letting go I should probs only have about 10 tops! A couple are 9-12 months but are just so lovely I squeeze the poor boy in!
