Bugaboo cam
Bugaboo bee+
iCandy strawberry

Or bug bee AND bug cam...

I'm going mental.

I need,RF ,smallish to store,pushes well.
I don't drive but I need to find somewhere in the house to store it easily.
I already have an MB+one and a maxi cosi noa.
We walk everywhere,i walk fast and a lot. Grin

The iCandy will be very difficult for me to get hold of because of the blardy "only sell in store" bull, and doesn't come up 2nd hand often.
The bee+ can have ishoos.
The cam is a two part fold which I'm not keen on.

I want an easywalker June but I'm too sodding impatient and they keep putting their release dates back Angry

Oooh yes, you would immediately think of the summit for running, but the suspension is good.

PurplePidjin · 14/06/2012 08:19

Still lurking, but thought the conversation had moved on! Are baby joggers parent facing?

Thanks
Daisybell1 · 14/06/2012 09:31

No, sorry, but you can get a carrycot or people use a soft carrycot/pod thing to make them parent face initially.

PurplePidjin · 14/06/2012 10:34

Ah, see i'd prefer parent facing to off roas tyres, as I'm the one who'll be using it daily :)

Just had a Babies R Us thing through the door, and the Buzz 3 is £345. Is that a good price? I NEED to go to town and push things!!!

LiberteEgaliteFRIGGernite · 14/06/2012 10:57

Dasiy I'm not selling the +One,it's broke Sad

I think the Buzz is over rated Purple

I also think you need two buggys.
A PF everyday one,and a running/off roading one.

As the ones that are safe enough/sturdy enough for jogging, are by nature large bulky things with large bulky wheels.
and that is exactly what you don't want for every day use.
You could pick up a running buggy 2nd hand off eBay,fairly cheap and buy a niace shiney new PF lightweight easy fold for everyday use.

PurplePidjin · 14/06/2012 11:06

I think you're right, and will worry about dp and running buggies next summer when PFB is at least 6m. I shall concentrate on finding a lightweight everyday one that can either be carried or bumped up my fucking stairs :)

What is PF??

Thanks

Daisybell1 · 14/06/2012 11:45

Frigg - I see! Although when it's got you through the summer, as her royal Tiggy-ness commands, and if you think of selling, give me a shout?

buttonmoon78 · 14/06/2012 13:36

honey I feel a little bit sick that I've just volunteered to take a friend's Mac Techno off her hands.

It's a very long story involving an ancient old Triumph which another friend broke and replaced with new cos she couldn't find one on ebay Hmm but DH doesn't want to feel beholden so doesn't like me using it and there are times when I just want something I don't care about but I've just sold my M&P Ziko (which was ok) to boost the buggy fund so if I give the new Triumph back I'll be don't-care-about-the-buggy-less. Are you glazed over yet? Grin

I'm still at a loss over what to do re primary buggy. I'm still using the Urban Detour I got to go to Kenya and I really like the air tyres but ds's head is no level with the top of the seat (he's 11m so if I'd bought it new I'd be mighty cross!) and I really wish he could face me.

All the following are possibles:

A bug (anything but a bee+ - had one for 4/5 days before it began rattling like a shopping trolley DON'T GET ONE FRIGG)
P&T new explorer - I now it's a bit of a swear word round here but I actually like the way the new ones are tho not PF
BJ City Elite - same issue as P&T
Icandy apple - peaches are too pricey for me
I also really like the look of the cherry but no air tyres

Am mighty confused. Budget wise it has to be 2nd hand. Sigh. I'll still be here deciding what to do in two years when ds is walking and not needing a buggy!

Ihateparties · 14/06/2012 13:44

Purple... go forth and push! Seriously, they all feel very different, especially with some weight on board (maybe take a heavy bag or something, or our local nursery shop has a freaky weighted doll thing) and you have a very specific need. Carrying or bumping the pushchair up and down quite a few steps whilst carrying a baby. You definitely need to see and feel them in person.

Daisybell1 · 14/06/2012 15:55

Button - at the risk of getting deleted, you could always buy my Herqules [grin)

Parent facing with a huge seat!

Shock re "her royal" Shock
What have I done now?!!

There are very cheap Buzzes for sale at Pramworld tonight online (if there are any left!) but the Buzz is hugely heavy to lift and hugely wide, with a rubbish basket, no ankle support for a baby and is generally not the best pushchair. Its not the worst either but I hate lugging ours around because its soooooooo heavy and bulky. I would never ever want to have to carry it further than our front door let alone up a flight of stairs. I urge you to get to a pram shop and play!! Fold, lift and carry! I think you will learn so much by doing that :)

Daisybell1 · 15/06/2012 01:19

It was a term of endearment, referring to your superior knowledge about all things pushchair-y Grin

Thanks
