Mmmm it can't be easy by any stretch. Daniel gets really mad like you say James does. I would love to see him do that Xmas Blush sorry i just can't imagine that angelic little boy getting mad but i know looks are deceptive.

Re the post i am a bit Arggggggggggg as i am waiting on lots of online shopping for christmas and it looks like it won't be coming.
Adonis you know the Greek God said he went to pick up parts [works for british gas] and said the sorting office was a complete shambles. Parcels everywhere and people stressed out to max.

Would it be rude to give a niece who i hardly see and never speak to an iou!!! in the post here is the tracking number Xmas Grin noooo i would not do that but how annoying.

basl · 11/12/2010 00:37

Maxy it's bloody well scotland that has been hit worst Xmas Sad. The postal service has gone all to pot. No offense but i think people have no idea what the weather has been like up here. I watch the news like everyone but still the scream at me when at work " Why the hell do i have to wait to get my call ansered"

Basl replies "I am sorry due to the weather..........interuption " I don't care about your bloody weather i have waited 10mins to speak to you are you human"
So wanted to say "NAh !!! please record your message after the tone..."
I asked the woman where she was calling from [stuck up cow] and she told me she was calling from California. I could not help but to say "oh well Mrs * at least you are not risking your life every time you step out the door.
She huffed and puffed and then screamed "can you get on with this then"

Heeee hooooo heeeee how we laughed that night as i was on the cooo koooo line literally. I had a man call and as the call was closing he apoligised for the background noise and i asked if it was a bird. [not the human kind] and it was indeed a parrot. He asked me to hold and i could here him saying "Say hello to the lady" and he kept going on so i said "Helllllloooooo" and all my colleagues where in stitches and i was so close to tears with laughing but the man kept insisting i wait till the bird spoke.

Sorry i am a wee blether again xx

Good morning...i just woke from a very lovely dream. It was DH and I when we first met. It made me feel kind of sad. We long for these children so much but they cannot help but strip away at our marriage and our closeness. Yes they are amazing, beautiful and wonderful and so much longed for. But its so strange when you look back and remember you and 'him' and how different you were as a couple. I sometimes miss my husband so much. Even tho he's here, we're so busy shouting instrucitons and orders to one another from one room to the next. Barely touching..does anyone relate? Anyway i'll stop my blethering now! The problem is im mad about my mine, adore him as much as day we first met and still find him gorgeous. He's an amazing dad and husband. We just have to make the effort. And not put everyone else first.

Right sorry about that Blush

Now my darling basl and daniel son. You know i always told you he would come through this. Being 18m-2.5yr is a very hard time for these little people. He always reminds me so so much of luka and how he used to be. Such a trying little boy that one. With his late speech he was so frustrated. But he's come on leaps and bounds in the last year. I no longer dread taking him to places or meeting people. Im more confident in sticking up for my son rather than worrying if his behaviour will embarrass.

I firmly believe spending time with other people is what helped bring him on, or maybe it would have happened naturally. He was same age as Daniel when he started Nursery. He still has his off days and i must admit they are increasing again atm. But maybe that is due to all the excitement of xmas. These boys of ours are very complex aren't they and very special. But look at their crazy mums its no wonder eh? Xmas Grin

5ElvesMooningSanta · 11/12/2010 10:37

Morning ladies.

Wow, lots of thought provoking posts from you all last night and this morning.

Hope everyone is feeling ok today.

I'm still feeling rough this morning :( Really want to shift this flu, but nothing is working. Poor DH has had to take his mam shopping and having to do her running around for her, he has flu as well.

My lovely dad came round last night to look after boys for us so we could go to bed. He bought them figh and chips and lots of goodies. He evn done my three days worth of dishes Blush. He isn't my natural dad, but ha brought me up from a baby. Long story short, he doesn't know I know he isn't. I love him just the same though.

Before he left he gave me an envelope and inside was a wad of cash! £60 to get boys an outfit each for Christmas and £200 for me and DH from my uncle who died recently.

Bleurgh, trying to knock back a lemsip drink, making me want to puke!

nicolamumof3 · 11/12/2010 10:42

oh 5elves that is truly lovely. (not you being ill of course but your dad) my stepdad is the same he's such a lovely lovely man. Treats us as his own (if not better) and loves my boys the end of the earth and back again. Oooh your boys are going to look lovely and smart what you going to get? i've got the boys some nice next outfits with little ties! They've never worn ties before so will look smart as we're going out for xmas day. Only off ebay but you know these kind of outfits barely get worn so look lovely.

Its awful when you are both ill but still have lively little ones to look after.

I've just cleaned kitchen was a bombsite. Now got to do living room and hall. Constantly mopping floors in this weather all the grit that gets dragged in. Doing my head in.

5ElvesMooningSanta · 11/12/2010 10:46

Yeah thinking of going to either Next or H&M. Saw some lovely jumpers in H&M.

I have loads to do, was meant to get all my shopping finished this week, didn't happen with being ill. Ds3 at playgroup every day next week (except Friday) so should hopefully be able to get it done then. Need to go to PO depot os well as missed postman by 5 mins on Thursday. grrrrr.

maxybrown · 11/12/2010 10:47

Ah that's lovely 5elves Smile

God knows what we'll be wearing CHristmas day, got nothing yet and have 2 pairs of jeans to my name and that is it for bottom halfs - unless we count summer stuff Grin I just can never get any to fit, drives me mad! so will prob be in my tatty jeans Blush good job we're not going out but bet my folks will look lovely - not that they care but you know!

5ElvesMooningSanta · 11/12/2010 10:54

We are stopping in this Christmas, MIL and SIL coming for dinner. Might just make mashed potatoes to piss her off. I don't dress up Christmas day, and boys will probably stay in their pyjamas, but we are going out boxing day so they will look good then.

Think me and DH will go into town today to have a look around. Fancy buying a digital camera as my last one was killed my DS2.

maxybrown · 11/12/2010 11:02

Grin 5elves - oh boy you deserve a medal!

My Mum and Dad are coming and will be staying over - they always look lovely! But think that's years of 3 kids and ahving NOTHING to their name at all that now they like to buy themselves nice things - which is good!

Did you get the rollerbug btw?

5ElvesMooningSanta · 11/12/2010 11:08

No I didn't Sad. I put a bid in and went to bed. It went for £38, which is a fab price really. Wish I'd stopped up to buy it really.

Not to worry, DS3 is hating being in the pram now anyway, think he will follow DS1 and be out a pram before he is 2 1/2.

maxybrown · 11/12/2010 11:21

Yeah i saw it only went cheap!

maxybrown · 11/12/2010 11:23

I am thinking in September I will try and make the effort to walk James to nursery so will need pushchair then - much to his disgust! It's about 3 miles I think, so that should keep me fit. Need to have a go in summer and see how long it will take me. It's all downhill going - will get bus back Grin

nicolamumof3 · 11/12/2010 11:53

Go for it Maxy I love long walks. Be lovely in autumn you cN leave pushchair there expect? Just having v early lunch as I was ready to collapse! Boys still in pjs luka has party At 2pm we are going Xmas fayre st school

maxybrown · 11/12/2010 11:58

Not sure as it's a school but no bother if not - as long as I'm going back home, if I wasn't then I would get bus.

Oh I'm starving, had nothing yet but need to go to tip, PO, get a tree er....somethig else too lol
