OK prediction: I am holding off getting a new Nipper because of the cost and doubts as to whether I really need one. So this means that it will sell out and not be available again and we will get heavy snow in a couple of weeks and I will be cursing.

I have kept DD2 off school as her cold has thickened up [bleugh] and I am feeling slightly rough with a tummy ache myself.

Then have Tates xmas play later, but terry went yesterday and said that Tate's class only on for about 5mins then its the rest of KS1 to watch for another hour. Should be fine tho as im on my own no bored 3yo.

Well i was at work last night and Olivia has discovered Cbeebies on the PC so she hogged the blooming thing for ages after school but she absolutely loves it and was listening to stories etc so didn't mind.
THEN!!! woke up this morning sitting down to breakfast then POWERCUT [fin] whole street out. The school was shut and we have been huddled under duvet most of the morning. [rather nice] Mummy just closing her eyes and Olivia says ok mummy i will read some books to Daniel. Oh how lovely i hear you say. Well come on it's my two we are talking about so it was fight fight, wack of the face with an elbow screaming "my shot my shot" "Daniel you can't even read" " yes a can yes a can" .................. Then the lights came on and we all jumped up and down on my bed lol.
So off she goes to grandads and then Daniel off to My sisters and i am going to sit on my big fat Arse. No actually i can't i have loads to do.

My pushchair is in cyber space. Picked up but lost. Does it ever get better lol

Well one of kenny's friends on Face book has sent me a message to say to send the kids down to his house as he has 7 to look after already while schools off and mums out. He said " Doddle so easy and don't know what all the fuss is about. Woman can't handle the pressure"
Well let me tell you he got the sharp edge of my stick shall we say. I really have got tonns to do today and kids away so no excuse. I have been very very lazy recently and feel a bit about it. I can't be [fin] arsed with anything as i am feeling really really down. The same old same old crap for anyone else wondering. However i do feel my life will change as of the New Year i was told it would on one of my readings so it's got to be true . Hey i will be 40 and achieved non of the goals i set for myself but i think loosing 3stone and learning to drive are rather tall orders so my New Years thingy will be to take little steps and get butt in gear FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!

POST OFFICE STORY ????? Please pretty please ??

ok, so we go to PO the other night, all 3 of us. DH has things to send he has sold and I have a parcel.

Get here, queue up to the door - but for us it is no big deal as we know it will be gone in 10 minutes - our local PO takes about 40 mins this time of year (no joke at all!) and then when you get your turn, tey are uselss anyway...............anyway, I digress.

So two lads come in behind us - 19/20 ish maybe. They go "oh fin ell wot a joke"(please try your best most commonest mancunian accent if you will - er think the worst accent on Shameless - note I Do NOT sound like this!)Anyway, they "need their money" (or muneh) so stand waiting, moaning all the way round. Then a cashier becomes available and I tell Matthew to go as he has loads. So he goes and then one of the lads turns round and nearly goes flying into me as he assumes I have moved forward with matthew so standing there, talking to James and one of the lads says to me "ee wants yor downnnn there" (and i see it the travel exchange bit - he doesn't have a button to press to call people and i hadn't heard him) s I say "oh sorry thank you" and start to go and one of them says under his breath (but too loudly unfortunately) "yeah, well effin (he said the word though not effin) urry up you stupid cow" well I whisked round and out of my kouth came "DON'T EFFING SWEAR AT ME....ARSE!!!" well I've just had enough of people round here thinking they are more important than everyone else and there he was, demanding his benefits (sorry that is probably too type cast, but it was true) then he muttered again and I shout down "pardon??!!" and he couldn't even look at me - I felt so good because I would not normally say anything to poeple like that and at the end of the day he couldn't even look at me.

Hmph! Was good at the tome - you had to be there!

Got out and I say to Matthew - did you hear all that? He says oh yeah what was that about? (dope) so I tell him and he then says "Oh!! I didn't realise it was you!! I just thought it was 2 common scabs having a go at each other" he did then say he was really angry as he would have said something had he known - then he was quite proud of me

So there you go, not all that interesting but you know!

Good for you Maxy and i completely agree all too often we let people like that intimidate us and so proud of you, although a bit disappointed you never said "nah" at all during that dialogue lol.

I just don't get why some people think it's ok to speak like that and not know how rude it is.

Oops one more thing. Just been reading what Diva put on Nicola's face book and she is so funny and wonderful. I do send her messages but Maxy if you ever get the chance tell her i miss her so much on here. Always Always made me smile and i think she has such a fab personality. Awww it's her lovely language she uses and never ever stop laughing at how she said about cher on X Factor. " Why she act like gangsta" She had me in stitches about that and still does.

oh yes she is hilarious, love her! She is very excited as has some of her family over - really pleased for her

oh she does have her mum and sister over, can you imagine the excitement! Bit like lillypie when her lovely parents came over from aus. Must be totally wonderful.

Well we escaped from toy shop relatively unscathed. Then went into sainsbo's for some crusty rolls. Nearly collapsed with hunger so hurried home for lunch.

Checked my boden basket, some stuff sold out so thats saved me some pennies!! Still dithering tho.

Guess what i just had delivered?? Yes an UD that fits my door PERFECTLY Woooooohooooo.

It's lovely to push, huge seat and i think good head room for giant boy?? My retro spot snunkie goes on perfectly. Some minor scuffs in the usual place,Not to ecstatic about the style of the thing or comparison the classic but it bloody well fits out my door a dream and it is very very clean and not too nasty to the eye. Brand new raincover and very handy sort of change bag. Lots of storage and for £50.00 can't complain.

I have just had something weird happen to me.

I was stashing the box and the classic up the attic so kenny doesn't notice a new pushchair. While i was up the attic i found a box with old christmas cards as i am a sentimental [mental] person and i found some lovely cards from kenny. He said the most beautiful things then as they were to my girlfiend etc and to my wife on our first christmas. Well i was in floods of tears and absolutely unconsolable. So i pulled myself together and on the way down i noticed a shiny little thing so i stretched over and it was a little crystal Angel ornament that i have never seen in my life. It was in a little box so i picked it up and brought it downstairs. I can't find it now and i have been hunting for about an hour.
I so want this to be a little message or something as i feel rather distraught at the prospect of never spending another christmas with my husband. I know it has to happen but i really was not expecting my emotions when i read those cards.
