I still prefer old Bee to Bee Plus carrielou. I'm just not getting the new one. Hmm

BexieID · 28/09/2010 16:31

I'm so tired. Erin seemed to wake every 2 hours last night, each time she was on her tummy whinging! Went swimming with Erin, friend and her boy this morning. Did have a wee nap an hour ago but had to get up to express not even 1oz of milk Sad as off to work at 5.

Oh, and numpty me this morning going to the car, forgot to take Erin out of the buggy before folding it Shock Blush. Well, I went to fold it rather than undo the straps! Good job Mountain Buggys fold the way the do with seat on top! Her face was full of surprise as she went down Smile

carrielou2007 · 28/09/2010 19:04

5inthebed so sorry I totally missed your uncle's funeral the other day Blush

HMG I was like that with the bee, wanted to like it but just not for me at all but love love love bee+ Grin

Bexie I hear you, ds has his fourth tooth just cutting through and I couldn't console him last night, fell asleep finally at about 11pm after dream feed - then was awake all flippin night!! Terrible again today and we signed with a new CM today and he was so clingy he was not making a good impression!!

I would do that with the buggy, you are using your lovely plum MB now then??

LOL Bexie, I've done that before, can;t remember with which child though.

Ok, is it sad that I know the exact make of the pram in the Moonpig advert [bush] Even though it is folded and doesn't have a seat on.

I think I have a problem.

OP posts:
horsemadgal · 28/09/2010 21:32

Oh off to watch tv in hope moonpig advert comes on!

BexieID · 28/09/2010 22:52

I'm going to start using my lovely plum urban after half term as am still using the cdrive. Forgot to say that a woman in a shop asked if the little wheels on the cdrive lit up (asked after noticing they were different colours).

Thats me home from work and scoffed a scone, lol. Erin is asleep, but douby she took any milk and DP is in the shower so will have to wait, lol.

horsemadgal · 29/09/2010 20:38

Hellloooooo!

Bexie, would be sooo cool if the CDrive wheels lit up. Grin

5inthebed · 29/09/2010 21:37

What does a Cdrive look like? Is it like a 4 wheel MB?

GeekOfTheWeek · 29/09/2010 21:41

Hi all,

I have food poisoning Sad

Hopefully I will lose a few pounds though Grin

Used the raincover on the bee today and must admit it really pissed me off. It doesn't seem a good fit when in rear facing position and is impossible to tuck away when it stops raining. Anyone else noticed this?

nicolamumof3 · 29/09/2010 21:56

its got two small front wheels 5in.

im off to bed. Luka asked for r/c on superlite at w/end i will have to get it out of box which is in shed. we haven't used a r/c for a year or so now. its because the rain is so crap offers no shelter. be interested to see how he behaves with it on.

horsemadgal · 29/09/2010 22:05

Awww Geek hope you feel better soon?

Bee Plus raincover is awful, so cheap. Mine has ripped already. Need to go Mothercare and beg another.

GeekOfTheWeek · 29/09/2010 22:21

I dont have a bee+, just a 2009 model bee.

Also having a problem with a poshbugs footmuff. The zip has ripped out of one side Shock. Dh sewed it and the same has happened on the opposite side today. Honestly, the quality is shocking Angry

horsemadgal · 29/09/2010 22:52

Oh I got on ok with old Bee raincover, does take up room in basket right enough.

BexieID · 29/09/2010 23:14

cdrive has 4 little wheels at the front.

5inthebed · 30/09/2010 19:16

I don't think I've seen one before.

I want a footmuff for fastfold. Thinking of kaiser, but is there anything similar? Waterproof would be good as DS3's feet poke out the bottom of the raincover.

OP posts:
BexieID · 30/09/2010 19:28

cdrive with carrycot on.

I would stick with getting a black Kaiser or the official new Micralite one.

nicolamumof3 · 30/09/2010 19:36

i didn't like fit of kaiser in my micralite.

boot my boots at lasat i can start being a yummy mummy in my boots..and wear the skirts and dresses i've been wanting to wear instead of my jeans jeans jeans!

5inthebed · 30/09/2010 19:42

Oo I don't like that frame Bexie. Erin is gorgeous though, she looks so much like Tom.

OP posts:
BexieID · 30/09/2010 21:58

I love the cdrive. Frame is slightly smaller than a urban and lower down, but the seat is same size.

I loved Kaiser on my Micralite. Pic here with my dad pushing a very unhappy looking Tom. We were at the Loch Lomond Sea Life centre, just before Tom was 2. I loved that buggy till the end (it's currently outside having parts donated Wink). May she live on!

5inthebed · 30/09/2010 22:06

Kaiser looks lovely and snug. Might have to buy one.

Have you sold the covers and hood Bexie?

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 30/09/2010 22:19

not for micralite tho it really is too big Smile

horsemadgal · 30/09/2010 23:19

Oh I think Kaiser looks fab on Micralite. Doesn't look too big on Bexie's.

BexieID · 30/09/2010 23:41

I don't think it's as big on Micralite as buggynuggles are on Maclaren type strollers, iykwim. Micralite chassis is higher up. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=15199337&l=2a7ea3e7b8&id=591160513 here is pic of kaiser on urban. I would so get a black superlite and army pink kaiser!

5in, the plastic bits where the seat attaches on one side is bent and both pins missing. The hood has had a repair where Tom pushed it downstairs.
