basl · 02/11/2010 16:28

Mmmmm send it back to where it came.

5inthebed · 02/11/2010 16:45

Skye, you're not a buggy addict until you get into double digits Wink I've had over 30 prams in the past two years BlushGrin

Eww about the maggots, that is just not right! Where did you buy it?Can you return it?

OP posts:
basl · 02/11/2010 16:47

What you pushing these days 5in Grin Sorry never got back to you about the liner. I had to send it back. The slots where the harness went where still sewn up Shock so all went back. Plus it did not fit the bjcm.

5inthebed · 02/11/2010 16:57

Still just the micralite. Think it will be my last pram tbh (famous last words).

Totally forgot about liner, fret yee not.

Loving the dark nights, nothing like snuggling up indoors.

OP posts:
SkyeplusArlo · 02/11/2010 17:24

got it on ebay, but ive cleaned it already,i couldnt help myself!!im far to impatient to return it,i want to use it!Grin

and anyhow,i think i might be in love with it,turns like a dream, sooo much nicer than my maclaren,i'd always dismissed them because of their looks, they look like a status symbol, but i wanted something light and compact forward and rear facing and that my newborn and 2yr old can share, and the bee does it all!!should have known better eh.Grin

SkyeplusArlo · 02/11/2010 17:25

oh and utter Shock at the 30 prams!! dp really would leave me!Smile

SkyeplusArlo · 02/11/2010 17:27

umm i love dark nights too...makes me lust after an open fire!
sadly we're not allowed to use ours, they just sit there empty Sad

basl · 02/11/2010 18:11

Thats good then sky you don't hang about then lol.

I like dark nights to get them in their jammas thinking it's night time. lol

WeakAndMilky · 02/11/2010 18:58

OP posts:
basl · 02/11/2010 20:52

lol i am sure you have had far more than that 5in.

The parcel force guy asked if was in the pram business. It was great he knew exactly where to collect one if i was not in. He waves and points at my classic now and lol as if to say "still got the same one then" I remember he dropped one off in my back garden and me and a friend where comparing buggies and he asked if i would want him to wait while i open the box and decide lol.

Awww they where the days STRESS FACTOR !!!!

5inthebed · 02/11/2010 21:38

I can remember when you first starting the hunt for the perfect pram basl Grin. Sooooooo many questions and humming and hahing.

The DHL bloke knew me well. He also knew that if he was dropping off the chances he was colecting was highly likely.

OP posts:
basl · 02/11/2010 22:32

Lol then i kinda lost it a bit eh and starting singing and telling stories and my whole life stories and oh what a dwama i had.
Still love prams and pushchairs and think if baby jogger brought out the bjcm with little air wheels then that would be the PERFECT buggy for me with out a shaddow of a doubt. Grin

lillypumpkinpie · 03/11/2010 08:13

Morning lovely ladies (old and new Grin)
how are you all?
I have had such a hectic time with my parents being herethe time has gone so fast and they only have a couple of weeks left!

My Mum is so funny she turned up yesterday with a toaster that prints I LOVE YOU on the toast so that I will remember her every morning
after she has gone back to Oz Grin

Basl I am still enjoying my driving lessons I have two hour lesson today.
The pre-school have offered me more hours for Isobel so she now goes all day Monday and Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. She loves it,would go all day every day if she could.

I only have Volo left now,Issy rides her scooter everywhere but I want to sell volo and get a cheep 3 wheeler in case of bad weather over the winter.

So if you know anyone who wants gorgeous lightly used majesty volo point them in my direction!!

(5in ONLY 30? pah light weight Wink)

5inthebed · 03/11/2010 11:31

That is only in the past 2 years Lilly Wink

Toaster sounds lovely! When is she going back? Glad the driving lessons are going well.

What colour is majesty? Is it the purple one?

Bas, I think you're right, if the BJCM had air tyres it would be my ideal pram as well. Ait buggys have small air tyres but they are quite low.

Not been up to much the past few days, just the usual crap. Same crap, differet day.

OP posts:
horsemadgal · 03/11/2010 11:32

Wow nice to see some action in the shed.

Lily your mum is so lovely, loving the toaster!

When I started listing my buggies I got to about 50 then got fed up. Might do it again one day if can be bothered, be interesting.

lillypumpkinpie · 03/11/2010 12:19

Yes majesty is the purple one. It's gorgeous but I really only need an emergency pram now and if we get bad weather it will be useless where I live.

I am surrounded by toys and crap,
I started to clearout the toy box(esBlush)and now I am in a mess and only 10 mins til my driving lesson and no time after to sort it out as I have to go to work. oops!

basl · 03/11/2010 14:13

Good Afternoon!!! Lillypie lovely to hear your enjoying your lessons. I am about to change instructor as i just don't click with mine and felt obliged to go with him as he is my sisters neighbour but i feel bad. Still to hell with it and sure he not that bothered about me eh?

My pramaholic friend at toddlers has just bought the P & T explorer and a new black bjcm Shock she is a childminder so she thinks she can justify these new purchases lol. She is raving on about the new explorer.

She lives next door to a pram warehouse Shock and i said i really must come visit you but she lol and said NO i will come visit you!!!

Loving the Toaster xxx

5inthebed · 03/11/2010 17:42

You know, I think I'm losing the plot. I am now looking at P&Ts! Was thinking of etting one with doubes seat for winter as I really doubt DS2 will walk back from school in the cold. Ds3 could sit in the front on the wat there and both on the way back.

Pram warehouse! I need to go visit one.

OP posts:
basl · 03/11/2010 19:11

Well lol i was exactly the same. I just about got attacked at the toddlers as they all screamed at me about not needing another.

She thinks it's fantastic. Sorry 5in it's this thread eh? It draws you in Grin

SkyeplusArlo · 03/11/2010 20:37

oh god, what have you done! ive been looking at p&t explorers for an hour!!!Grin

im loving the bee! its the best ive had so far!Smile...but i want a buggy board for dd (2yrs4months),any suggestions?been looking at the litaf stand and sit,or a lascal maxi,im 5'8 and i dont want to be kicking it all the timeHmm

ive got a double nipper for the winter weather, but im not sure i like the fixed front wheel.
ive had p&t's before but i didnt like that dd couldnt sleep in it (her head is on the bar) maybe it'd be better once ds is bigger and can go underneath?!

5inthebed · 03/11/2010 20:51

Is it a Bee or Bee+? You can get buggy boards for Bee+, not sure they fit the Bee.

I hate fixed wheeled prams, so ahrd to manouver them around shops and stuff.

OP posts:
SkyeplusArlo · 03/11/2010 22:14

its a bee,i dont like the look of the bugaboo ones, with the central wheel.
i think it'd make you walk like john wayne Grin

umm its good for muddy walks and snow but rubbish for town, and it doesnt fit through my front door unless i take of the wheels...the search continue's! [wink

basl · 03/11/2010 22:39

Oh don't get me started on taking off wheels and not fitting through the front door. Grin

Sky are you sure you have not read back old threads and winding me up Grin i could go on and on and on about pushchairs not fitting out my front door and what a saga.
