nicolamumof3 · 26/09/2010 22:17

its forty pounds so between half and third of any others i've seen one other on ebay bnib at £95 the rest over £100.

GeekOfTheWeek · 27/09/2010 09:57

No nic, its really bad luck.

How is everyone?

I am having a lazy day today. Might clean the bathrooms later but thats it Grin

I go back to work on the 1st of nov and am getting really nervous Confused Also a bit upset at how Jack will cope with th cm.

lillypie · 27/09/2010 10:08

Hi all Smile
geek going back to work is always horrible but the babies seem to cope much better than their mummys do!

Hi carrie

Nicola I still have the volo,it gets pushed empty to the child minders every friday (I think she uses it to put her shopping in!!)I also have the double nipper and the bargain xts.I think I will get rid of them all in the spring Sad

carrielou2007 · 27/09/2010 10:10

Morning Smile

I hear you Geek as I went back to work early doing keep in touch days, have this week off and back proper three days a week next week. First day I have a meeting in Birmingham so extra early start Hmm. I found it really hard, prob like you, run off my feet all day at work, really missed dc and as soon as I pick ds up he heads under my top!!

I know it will get easier, it is a good age for them to get used to it without noticing too much. Ds has just started called me 'mama' so I just think about him crawling around looking for 'mama' Sad

Hmmn, that was meant as a soothing rub on the back not a 'it's terible' that didn't come out quite how I meant it to Blush

GeekOfTheWeek · 27/09/2010 12:39

Cheers Lily and, erm, carrie Grin

Carrie, is it okay if I post your bag tomorrow? I have someone coming to look at the cam later today.

nicolamumof3 · 27/09/2010 12:42

Geek footmuff gone in post this morning Smile

I am super impressed with micralite, they emailed me this morning to say that the bargain carrycot would fit on my superlite hmmm. hard to know what to do. Basically older style attaached with a bar anything with adaptors is new style. I hear what your saying Geek. Plus micralite did say they are currently developing new carrycots so i reckon you could be right 5in with the superlite model coming out Smile

I hated going back to work after Luka was a relief to be made redundant just found coping with running house and children so much harder with working 3 days once i had luka.

GeekOfTheWeek · 27/09/2010 13:56

Thanks hon, will it fit a maclaren as well as the nipper? Grin

I would wait re the carrycot as I bet you change your mind if new ones come out Wink

nicolamumof3 · 27/09/2010 14:06

i know but its soooo cheap maybe i should just put a low bid in?

weirdest thing as i came out of p.o i saw the same footmuff twice on two pushchairs, one on a jane with a newborn in and one a maclaren too, its universal will fit anything. so glad you are getting nipper, you will love it!

GeekOfTheWeek · 27/09/2010 15:32

Its only a bargain if you really want/need it though Wink

I have sold the cam. I got more than what I paid plus a bn maclaren quest as px ShockGrin

lillypie · 27/09/2010 15:37

lol that's the kind of deal I like!

GeekOfTheWeek · 27/09/2010 16:06

LOL

I never usually get deals like that.

Only problem is I now need a footmuff to match the maclaren too Grin It lime and black so awkward to match!!

carrielou2007 · 27/09/2010 16:55

Sounds nice, sorry did not get back on earlier to say post bag tomorrow be lovely ta Smile I love the lime black quests, I love my apples quest colours just hate the buggy!! I have a nice snunkie footmuff I can use with my quest and swift - not that I have used either yet!

I put footmuff on xt today and could not get ds out of it so took it on preschool pickup. I love the xt so much, so easy to push, so nippy, ds loves facing forward, me not so much yet Blush he looked so snug in it that dd got in to watch tv when we got back.

Nicola you are trying to be sensible and get a bargain but you know you will just want a brand new/latest model one when the time comes Grin

lillypie · 27/09/2010 17:33

I think I am going to bite the bullet sell everything buggy related and buy one of these

5inthebed · 27/09/2010 18:33

Lilly that is pretty cool. Not sure I'd get one as would get some funny looks puling one of those aroun the streets here, but they look great.

I've been to my uncle's funeral today. It was a humanist one which I've never been to and it went ok. His ex wife turned up despite being told to stay away but luckily she left straight after.

Hope everyone is ok, Basl especially x

nicolamumof3 · 27/09/2010 18:34

get the universal maclaren muff geek, be the best fit not too long so it drags on wheels. Good deal. I had a bid on carrycot. I know i know, but i can't resist. Im so happy with superlite. But i know once out of carrycot i would want something rf Confused so will be buying new a few months down the lay something rf.

lillypie · 27/09/2010 18:59

I'm glad the funeral was ok 5in xx

lol I wasn't planning on pulling the wagon around the streets (although could be useful if it snows this year)more for festivals, bootsales and beach Grin

5inthebed · 27/09/2010 19:26

Haha Lilly Grin. I did wonder.

Well I've just collected a back fastfold Grin. Smells a bit like curry and in need of a wash Hmm but otherwise in great condition.

Nicola, I thought you wanted a Skate as a RF pram?

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 27/09/2010 20:16

yay to the fastfold.

i do love the skate but i like the older style all in one, the denim and i would seriously struggle to get one bn now. I would have to have bn for a newborn or one from someone i knew iykwim. I adore the micralite as you know so it was logical to me to have that as my newborn pram. Then poss get a bee?! Shock

5inthebed · 27/09/2010 20:24

If I was doing it all again I'd get a Quinny Buzz and a Bee+.

I've just showered my fastfold and it smes lovely now. DH thinks I've lost the plot.

OP posts:
lillypie · 27/09/2010 20:37

bee!!! ShockGrin

nicolamumof3 · 27/09/2010 20:38

Superlite and bee or bee plus for me...best get myself pg now Grin

my boots arrived today from clarks im not sure on either now. gggrrr. maybe i'll get some lacey up worker style ones. can't decide and want to wear my skirts/dresses and chunky tights now.

carrielou2007 · 27/09/2010 20:47

Defo bee+/bee, bee was not for me at all but bee+ has everything I hated about the bee sorted. I love my cam, bee+ and mac xt, quest doesn't count as prob will sell that before I use it, volo is nearly invisable anyway and as for the swift, well everyone needs a three wheeler Grin

GeekOfTheWeek · 27/09/2010 20:50

Which boots? Can you post a link? I think I want some lace up wedge ones. Off to cheshire oaks wednesday so will see whats there.

I got some dark grey, chunky knit leggings the other day.

I love winter Grin

nicolamumof3 · 27/09/2010 20:57

i think i can honestly say i would never do my multiple buggies again. i feel so much free-er not constantly obsessing about the next purchase. I would only need superlite with carrycot and be quite happy with that. could take on train and avoid buses or use sling. Well lets see what happens eh?

i've ordered the desert lorado and desert grazer in tobacco they arrived from clarks today. Not really sure what i want as lived in my uggs last winter. But determined to smarten up this year.

5inthebed · 27/09/2010 21:06

Carrie have you actually taken the swift out yet?
