Morning (yawn) been up since 5am with ds (from 2.30am that is) he has such a rotton cold and teething, same yesterday (got up at 4.30am yesterday) and day before (yawn). In esparaton yesterday and from no sleep I had to leave him to cry as I shouted at him to stop it - 8 month olds don't really know to just stop so knew I had to get away to calm down!

Feel like a hag this morning, told their dad yesterday he said it is my own fault for being 'too soft' and to 'let him cry'. Thanks, that's really helpful Hmm.

Anyway, I will be a 'meaner' mummy when he is old enough for controlld crying Hmm he said I didn't need to just let him cry himself to sleep Hmm. I won't bother telling him how his children are any more I think.

Geek hope you are on the mend you poor thing, how yuk for you.

Not keen on the cdrive buggy, does not look right to me in an odd sort of way, don't your lovely dc look like you Bexie!

Hammering it down today, stupid lady over the road keeps parking 2 inches (litteraly) from my car so I can't open the boot. I asked her the otherday if she could move back a wee bit as I could not open the boot to get my pram in (she doesn't know I have tons) and she told me I should just move my car forward (there is about 20 cm so I can actually get the car outbefore the kerb Hmm). I was like Shock at the rude bitch!!

It is hammering down so I am going to take the dc and knock on her door and ask her to move so we can go even though it will prob make us late from playgroup as I want her to watch me struggle with them in the rain. What an inconsiderate, rude cow!!

lillypie · 01/10/2010 08:49

Hi carrie you poor thing don't feel bad we have all been there and everyone know you love your dcs more than anything. It will all get better really soon when Archie has gotten rid of his cold and cut his wretched tooth!!

Don't listen to anything that KNOB says he is a waste of space and doesn't deserve any of you.Your patience with that man astounds me,I am sure I couldn't be so good Grin

How is Carrie getting on?Isobel is going through a bit of a cheeky stubborn stage(much worse with her Daddy)although she has been lovely this morning.

She has also started begging me not to go to work and getting upset which is not nice.

Can't you just reverse into thewitches ladies car?Accidentally of course Grin

Good morning to everyone else xx Who was it that wanted the rainbow stripe buggysnuggle?Do you still want it?

nicolamumof3 · 01/10/2010 09:07

Morning all. Had manic morning, i realise how hard it is to get three kids up in correct clothes, fed, washed and ready for school by myself as dh been workig early mornings last two days.

Carrielou my thoughts are with you i so remember that exhausted zombie state. Luka was never and still really isn't a great sleeper. i think i've adjusted to about 6hrs sleep a night now but you sound like you need a break. Do you think dcs dad will have them over night when they are older?

basl · 01/10/2010 14:26

Hellooo everyone!! Just wanted to say hiya as it has been ages since i had a wee chat. Carrie you sound knacked my luv. It is really exhausting working and taking care of kids and you doing this all on your own. Well i think you are bloody wonderful and what you did is what all of us have done and walk away and calm down. I think your amazing, capable, clever, patient lovely mummy and lillypie love how you describe carrie dc dad Grin

Hiya nicola xxxxxxxxxxx your doing a grand job too with all kids up and out in morning. Love you are planning the next travel system for your next baby Smile

5in and everyone else missing you all but really working hard at not being on pc much and it really really helps. I am out all the time now with daniel as i discovered he likes the creche at the swimming pool so i go swimming and he goes in no problem.

nicolamumof3 · 02/10/2010 08:39

Morning all! Just checking in to say hello!

All good here, life seems busier than ever now with school runs and Tate at nursery every afternoon, im def spending less time online and getting on with 'stuff'. Which is good. Still using superlite and still loveing it. Might try r/c on superlite if it rains again but think dry today.

horsemadgal · 02/10/2010 09:52

Awww Bexie don't worry she'll make up for it when you get home.
Will she drink water or anything else?

My niece did that when my mum had her, wouldnt drink a drop of anything. Worrying at time, but she fed for ages once SIL got home and came to no harm.

horsemadgal · 02/10/2010 21:13

Hellllooooooo!

BexieID · 02/10/2010 22:54

ello, ello, ello?

Erin woke for a feed 10 mins after I logged out this am. Was few mins late for work though Hmm She drinks water ok, thank goodness.

What buggys you selling lillypie?

carrielou2007 · 03/10/2010 14:05

Afternoon Wink

Still v tired here, my boy will not be trained (don't know where his stubborn streak comes from Grin!!) Thank you for your words of support, especially their dad, he is a twit big time but I do still give him a lot of my time as he is their dad after all

Lillpie dd is a bit bossy atm, lots of younger ones starting at playgroup. She loves playgourp and being with allthe other children so much is does not last long. It's just with me she's a very cheecky mo and a bit answery-back which trying hard o nip in the bud.

Bexie dd would not have a bottle but ds will (the greedy boy) glad she had a good feed and you don't have to have boobs like rocks at work, well for a few hours anyway Grin. Mine go like party balloons as I don't express in the afternoon now as fingers crossed ds will drop the afternoon feed soon and he has formula at the CM.

I just can not get the right bag!! Bought Geeks PL bag and love it so my green one is going. Storksak one not here yet, hoping will be good for with xt. I can'teven find a nice black bag to use as a change bag - grr. Needs to be something to use mainly with bee+ and xt not so big it tips it and must be able to have bag clips for bee+. Thats the only thing I hate about the bee+ not being able to gethe right bag. I can't justhang it over my shoulder as I just use one bag so it breaks my shoulder with everytihing inside!!

Off to a playbarn in a bit with my sister and her dc, will try to chat and not nod off into my hot chocolate Grin

horsemadgal · 04/10/2010 23:05

My 19 month old still isn't sleeping through carrielou. Well actually we do get an odd night maybe once a month!
I know that's not going to make you feel better but be assured I sympathise, so knackering.

BexieID · 04/10/2010 23:42

Longest Erin ever slept through is 8 hours. The usual is 5 before she wants boobie.

Shes wide-eyed and bushied right now actually.

horsemadgal · 05/10/2010 22:08

They say 6 hours is the minimum continuous sleep people can cope on. Did that make sense, hopefully YKWIM?

5inthebed · 05/10/2010 22:09

Gosh so quiet on here now.

I've been offline and not up to talking reay. My aunt had a stroke at the weekend, so been really worried about her, and worried about my dad as he is the oldest of the 4 of them. Aunt is doing ok, she has a droopy right side of her face, but has mobility. Luckily they caught it in time.

Still continuing my search for a (cheap) footmuff for micralite.

Hope everyone is fine, Carrie hope you manage to get some sleep. DS3 didn't sleep through until over 18 months

OP posts:
BexieID · 06/10/2010 00:06

Helooooo echo echo echo

Anybody home?

carrielou2007 · 07/10/2010 15:37

Afternoon Smile

Sorry about your aunt 5intebed hope she is making some progress.

I hear you Bexie, my boy will not be trained (yawn) I am going to really try and be strict, I'm really making sure he eats and drinks PLENTY in the day so I know he is not hungry and enough naps but he does not have a long sleep inthe day, dd did not either.

My new storksak still not here (grumble) but bought black leather lookalike of emily bag today in tmaxx, my friend thought it was one as so similar so may send the other back if it ever arrives.

Ordered some bug stuff on 6th July, rang to chase it last week to find the shop had not even ordered it and could find no record of it or that I had paid! She has ordered it today but I said I have wated 3 months, it will take 6-8 weeks no thanks wanta refund thanks and they said no!!! Looking a their terms and conditions they do say they do not refund bug orders ifyou change your mind, well waiting almost 5 monthsfor something?? Flippin fuming!!

BexieID · 07/10/2010 16:54

Goodness carrie, that is a long wait! Can't believe they didn't order it (well I can as Drs didn't put through my prescrption request last week Hmm). What is it you waiting for? Could you say DS outgrown now?

GeekOfTheWeek · 07/10/2010 18:51

Name and shame carrie. Thats farcical. Stupid bastards.
