Diva IS a lovely person I can vouch ffor that

Ideally just pull on yes please Diva

maxybrown · 19/07/2010 08:59

Lillympie - I had single fixed wheel Nipper for a long time, so will be an old friend really but still want to try a MB

nicolamumof3 · 19/07/2010 09:57

maxy i got some of lightweight gap joggers you know the ones, luka's only had them on once, i can go check if they're a two or three as can send with pj's later?

I want to try nipper to maxy but am sure you will love the nipper again.

feeling fine now! Deffo going to check out times of pilates classes later, and book another massage.

GeekOfTheWeek · 19/07/2010 10:17

Morning all,

You feeling better nic? I only get migraines once in a while but they are horrible.

Maxy, you decided what pram you are taking to cornwall? I want a 3 wheel all terrain ready for, erm, anything really

I am going to be doing some holiday packing today, my gran is enroute to mine now!

basl, i am sure she would love your party but think i will come alone. I adore her and she is wonderful but v scatty! Drives me mad at times! We went to zante with her a few years ago and she 'lost' her passport whilst in the passport control queue coming home. Much faffing and panicking. That was one of the least trying times

maxybrown · 19/07/2010 10:23

OK Nic thanks - think they might fall down though. I got him the shorts in those and had to get him 12/18 months Not got the other age 2 ones anymore.

I love the fixed wheel nipper. I still prefer the seats and hoods on baby joggers though.

basl · 19/07/2010 10:24

Has anyone asked me to be friends on face book that i have not accepted ? I have been asked by a name i have no idea who it is. Very pretty girl with long black hair. Is it you geek or maybe your gran?

maxybrown · 19/07/2010 10:27

email me the name Basl and I can tell you

Though I have some requests that I have no idea who the people are

Well it's glorious here now today! Got my washing out and going to rush some more through before that rain has chance to return!

basl · 19/07/2010 10:30

Well i need some votes. Is it worth getting Daniel a mini micro scooter or could i get a way with a chunky three wheeler scooter and get him the micro when a bit older. I also like those scuttle bug thingys in Argos as he currently goes everywhere on a baby sort of ride on but very low. He is great a zooming along on it using his feet and that scuttle bug thingy looks just the ticket. So many expensive things bought in this house that just don't get used and i am wondering what to do. Help required please.

maxybrown · 19/07/2010 10:34

sorry that sounded realy interferey

I LOVE the scuttlebugs Basl - and so did James! I think he would hav preferred them to the mini micro but we got him the mini micro to last him, though he isn't over awed with it though bet he will be eventually.....esp if there was someone older around to be with. The scuttlebugs are lovely, and James still fitted on one. I liked them as they folded up really small too. We had a play in JL one day

maxybrown · 19/07/2010 10:35

James also "told" us that he didn't need a mini micro as he had a scooter already - a very rusty Bob The builder one that the previous house owners left behind bless the little chap..........

nicolamumof3 · 19/07/2010 10:37

not used scuttlebug but can't fault the mini micro best scooter on the market imo.

right must get off and do my ironing and back some ebay parcels. exciting life. Still sunny here, we've been so lucky with the weather been a great summer down here so far! (must not jinx summer hols starting next week tho!)

basl · 19/07/2010 10:40

Yippeee thanks Maxy my wee sweety pie. Can you tell i am happy about that. It saves kenny coming home from Aberdeen to go into john lewis in Edinburgh just to get the mini micro. Argos have them on offer so thats it. Olivia has a tweenies we were handed down [can't stand the tweenies] and Daniel loves it but it's on its last legs. I think i am going to get one on offer in Argos it has a little key you turn to sound like an engine and black and very reasonable and my mum can get him the scuttle bug so he has a choice.

Maxy did not sound interferey to me i just want to know who it is. Thankyou my dear. xxx

5inthebed · 19/07/2010 10:49

Morning everyone. I'm meant to be getting my keys today so looks like it will be all go here, probably move on Friday/Saturday if we can. Friday would be ideal as the boys will still be in school.

Diva, the raincover arrived today, but it's the wrong size chick. It must be for the pre-2009 quests as it is too small. Can I send you it back for a refund or should I just try sell it on here?

Nicola, sorry you've been feeling icky and headachy. Hop you're feeling a bit better today.

maxybrown · 19/07/2010 10:53

Ah lovely Basl! I do think the mini micros are good scooters - def. But I am wishing we got james the scuttlebug for a while as like i say he is not that interested in mini micro just yet and think he would have loved scuttlebug. Plus that would have been fabby for taking away with us - have you seen how they fold?

Ooh lovely 5in!! very pleased for you

Divatheshopaholic · 19/07/2010 11:11

Back home,
Sun is shining for change. I might as well pull my weeds out today,as they are rather taking over the front garden, looks like some abandoned place

5in, Im so sorry I thought it said 2009 on box Would you be able to sell it on,if so it will save money on posting it back. If you sell any cheaper let me know, i will pay the difference. Please let me know what you think.

Maxy, ill go and check, will do photos and send you by email.

Nicola, i just wondered if you could be pg? Hope you feel better soon.

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/07/2010 11:12

Scuttlebugs reduced in sainsbury's today.
Lillypie what a lovely day you had. Sigh.
Well this afternoon I'm off to DD2's postponed sports day. Collect parcel from post office on the way.
Busy last week for school.

nicolamumof3 · 19/07/2010 11:27

5in you must be soooooo excited.

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/07/2010 11:46

Sorry basl I can't remember how much. Thank you for a virtual card. Less clutter eh

OP posts:
5inthebed · 19/07/2010 12:02

I'll try sell on here then Diva, no harm done

I am mega excited, can't wait! Not looking forward to the moving part, and Ds2 is bound to be a little "unique" over the next few weeks, but hopefully he will settle soon.

What is a scuttlebug?

basl · 19/07/2010 12:06

scuttlebug now ordered from Amazon on the next day free trial [so note to self to remember cancel trial after it has arrived] for £18.00

5in it is like a little ride on scooter type. I wanted to get daniel a scooter but swithering about those micro ones and would he be that bothered. This little thing looks great as he loves going everywhere on his nightgarden ride on. He goes like the clappers on it but not ideal as i have to carry it when he has had enough. The sb folds down small.

So chuffed for you 5in it must be exciting.

5inthebed · 19/07/2010 12:21

Ah I googled it, looks great. DS3 would probably like something like that.

I bought DS2 a Mr Men Scooter from Tesco for his birthday (which is next month). It was £35 reduced to £18 and has little Mr Men characters in a little drawer. He will love it. Ds1 has the Ben 10 one.

maxybrown · 19/07/2010 12:23

Was going to say Basl - they are on ebay for same price and free delivery too but glad you got one. Really sorry I didn't get James one now I know he's older but he did like it.

5in have you still got your sunshine kids organiser at all?

I am sooooooooooooo hot. Just been to collect parcels from PO. Left the house and my neighbour was there outside and ignored me completely so that's good, ah well.

I reported him to environmental health as he kept burning things in his garden next to our fence - horrible black smoke causing things, so couldn't put washing out/have windows open/let James out and we'd had enough. Anyway, I reckon the dippy woman who came to see him must have given us away. funny though - he was in the wrong yet it us treated as the outcasts! Ah sod em!!!

maxybrown · 19/07/2010 12:25

Gah! The scuttlebugs were down to £12.97 in sainsburys!! But only til 17th anyway Basl - instore only - bear bloody moo

5inthebed · 19/07/2010 12:31

Bear moo? Have I missed something?

I do Maxy, but I use it now and again and will probably be getting another air tyred pram for winter. Sorry . they're good ith the bjcm though, would reccommend one.
