oh my no not new!! They are nearly £300 new!! couldn't do that. yep fixed wheel on ebay. and the 360 is black, not perfect but its got swivel wheel and i can always buy new fabrics for it if i want.

What are ages of the dc basl?

basl · 31/07/2010 21:50

The children are 10mths nicola. Oh i was forgetting it is only for a short while. Getting a bit carried away with all this pushchair talk tonight.

carrielou2007 · 31/07/2010 22:18

Evening

How are the little visitors FMTD

Nicola did you buy that black 360 on ebay or did you get a super bargain one???

Basl I have fallen off the SW wagon I grabbed a packet of crisps and couldn't tsop better than wine I suppose .

I'm still looking for a changing bag, big enough without being too big, able to use bag clips so can use on bee+ as well as xt and cam. Just keep changing my mind, have a cheapo (7 quid in the sale) black bag from new look does the job fine, just not very exciting

nicolamumof3 · 31/07/2010 22:21

babymel carrielou, seriously they are fab, with stroller strap and just a lovely squishy bag which isn't babyish or changing bag ish!

um i bought one from cargirl! Can't wait to get it had an offer on fixed wheel im pondering over. Would mean sending it to N.I and i haven't got a box

basl · 31/07/2010 22:25

Good Evening Carrie

Well i was great until tonight and i had a huge bowl of special k. I think they call that flexable sins do they not where you count an upper limit and stick to it and don't blow it the next day?

Carrie i am do you still have your swift? Do you not use it then? and you have a bee+ but you use the cam?

I am really into pram talk tonight been chatting with a friend who is a childminder and she is so a candidate for the pushchair shed but i would not like her to know i am a loon really.

Would you not like a custom one made? or not for you?

Questions Questions Questions poor nicolas has had to answer all my questions for days

FlyMeToDunoon · 31/07/2010 22:29

Hello all.
Visitors have been well reduced in numbers I hope by all the combing.
We went for a walk in the drizzle and ended up getting home in hot humid afternoon.
I had a nap afterwards as it was very draining. Made up for it later by hoovering the whole house, tidying, emptying and filling dishwasher, hanging up a washing and then mopping all hard floors. Plus serving DP and DDs pizza and Sprite waitress style while they watched Ghostbusters.

nicolamumof3 · 31/07/2010 22:31

i love answering your questions tho basl!!

well im not sure about your friends double options its going to be p&t i guess either that or unload lo's at door? not ideal.

basl · 31/07/2010 22:33

Hiya Flyme, glad your visitors are taking the hint
You have had a busy day then bet you will sleep well tonight.
I have gone all pushchair talk tonight don't know if you read back but i was liking the look of your micralite?

nicolamumof3 · 31/07/2010 22:38

oooh ghostbusters

carrielou2007 · 31/07/2010 22:40

One in one out Nicola, stuff of champions that

What an imagine FMTD no wonder you are so slim

Basl I have not yet used the swift (outside) it will become my everyday pushchair when ds is say 12-14 months or so when I sell the cam and will still have a rf in bee+. That lives in car boot as will apples quest ready for my CM to use on my working days. Black xt will live in hall cupboard along with swift. Cam fits at end of kitchen (v long and narrow) but pain to fold and stick in hall cupboard.

Going out for the day tomorrow, not sure where yet, Devon, Dorset somewhere, should really take the swift but ds has only ever been in ff buggy once and he hated it. So will take cam as will prob end up at a beach somewhere. Dd was prob about 18 months before I stopped wanting to use the cam everywhere and started using a buggy more. Confused?? It's a very complicated buggy system I have here

nicolamumof3 · 31/07/2010 22:44

not confused at all! you have a little baby and all the joys of many many months/years of buggy lust to go carrielou, enjoy it! i certainly intend to fourth time round

basl · 31/07/2010 22:50

.com Well i must say you are Very organized!!!! imagine being allowed to have a pushchair for every need. That is fantastic and may i ask where the volo fits into this system ????

Devon sounds like a place i would love to go and visit.

Olivia was a joy to face me in her pram but i deliberately forward face daniel very early on as he used to scream to get out from such a young age. I used to face him away from me on the bus so he would not scream as he was always better watching everything. I did feel people must of thought i was one of those mums that never bother to talk to there kids infact the more i spoke to him the more upset he used to get. He wanted out and for me to carry him.

carrielou2007 · 31/07/2010 22:55

that's what I'm thinking it is lovely all the diff combinations and options of buggies and all the access!!

I got a custom poshbugs bag today for the bee+ which is really lovely, works well on it with pram clips, not too big and not too small either (sorry v goldilock not too hot not too cold there!!). I tried a babymel on the cam but clips do not work on it and it is just a bit too big for the bee+. I've got a fair amount in my pp fund again so may return my cath kidston bag and buy it again on ebay using pp then sell green YM bag

Still want a cheapo black bag to use for dc's for at CM, she will use apples quest so black really needed.

carrielou2007 · 31/07/2010 23:08

Ah see the volo (oops yep I have two but one is going!!) is for if dc's dad take them as he has a convertable and only buggy will fit in the boot, plus fab buggy for when he is about 18-24 months to leave in the car when xt is my main buggy. Nothing like planning ahead when he is only 6 months eh??!!

I only REALLY have two buggies at a time, cam for everyday/all our walking and bee+ for car. That will then change to swift and bee+, then xt and bee+ though bee+ prob swap and come out fo the car and swift will live in garage for snow/beach etc then volo will sort of pop in somewhere

basl · 31/07/2010 23:16

Well the room is spinning round and round and round. My goodness me Carrie are you like this at work?
Sorry to be a pest but i am intrigued lol i get it up to a point. Why does the swift swap to an xt??? Would the swift not be the everyday pram always????and the bee+ in the car? or will the xt go in the car and bee+ be everyday and swift for snow ahahhhhhhhh i think i got it. Genius just need the bags sorted then. I feel more spinning coming on

carrielou2007 · 31/07/2010 23:24

Well the swift and xt are sort of interchangeable on non work days will be swift, on work days we go out for a walk to local Morrisons/Boots etc for bit of fresh air and milk/bread etc and xt is so easy to whip out with and shove in cupboard etc. Prob from about 18 months or so really or when totally done with rf.

Ds is a big lad and long so think he will look a bit daft in cam and bee from about then. Like having air tyres for super smooth ride for all our walking though xt has fab suspension too

basl · 31/07/2010 23:28

Excellent system.
Carrie i think i am going to try Weight Watchers. I just can't seem to get into the slimming world this time round. I think i will give it a week and see how i get along. I used to be so good at dieting but i am rubbish at it these days.

FlyMeToDunoon · 31/07/2010 23:49

Back again. I'm having a late night amn't I.
Must be the nap. I will regret it tomorrow when the DDs are awake early.
Micralite is good basl. What were you wanting to know?

OP posts:
basl · 31/07/2010 23:55

hiya, i am lol here it's like everyone is having a little turn at talking to me. Hee Heeee i am on three chat thingys at the one time here. I think i am a bit odd really and doing to much chatting online but i like it and the kids are sound asleep my dh out in Edinburgh so hey.

Oh nothing really Flyme i was reviewing the volo and someone suggested yours and i had a look and thought mmmmmmmmmm now i like that and wondered if it would be better than my bjcm for taking on holiay ? But i think i have talked myself out of that.

I really should go to bed at a reasonable time but i don't and i am always up around 6.30am

basl · 01/08/2010 00:07

nicolamumof3 · 01/08/2010 08:34

basl · 01/08/2010 08:51

Morning Nicola, nice and sunny here today Two sheepskin liners sounds lovely. I can remember you thinking about getting a double wayyyyyyy back and shame you are only getting it now.

Oh my i stuffed my face last night. This no alcohol lark makes me very picky at the weekend.

nicolamumof3 · 01/08/2010 09:02

i know i wanted one at the beginning of year when we had all the snow didn't i! im just having toast and jam mmmmh.

dh off to work just deciding what to do today. overcast but warm.

FlyMeToDunoon · 01/08/2010 14:37

What are you planning for the double Nicola? Will you keep it for later?
I have been sorting out more household stuff. Don't seem to have stopped until now and am sat on my bed with a cup of tea and some chocolate. It's really satisfying to have some energy and get things done but I fear I may be slightly pre-menstrual as the inaction and general thoughtlessness of the other members of my family are irritating me.
As I sort washing, make up an ikea flatpack stool, tidy my bedroom, sort out the wardrobe, find homes for things etc, DP is making a model , the little ones are just creating chaos werever they go and DD1 has come back from a sleepover in a foul mood because I said we weren't going to MacDonalds until she tidied her room [another tip].
Sod em. I'm going to listen to Johnny Walker at 3 and MN like mad.

nicolamumof3 · 01/08/2010 15:37

oh good for you dunoon.

the double is to tide me through long summer hols by myself..dh working loads and i like long day trips basically like to be out of house all day. Will mean i can do this now as tate often gets tired after 2/3hrs walking whereas i can go for miles. Will also be able to walk up to boot fair on my own, be good at chessington etc. So all round good. Still undecided about trying my hand at childminding..would be good for that. If i had another luka would be over 4yo so prob wouldn't need then he's a better walker than tate was.

I know how you feel dunoon. im having some choc chip shortbread in my tidy house, boys have been banished to their room and i can hear them trashing it right now the joys eh?

we've been to our usual...recycling, followed by macdonalds for lunch..then park, inc.sandpit home via lidl so good afternoon i suppose
