What's more important - dishwasher or tumble dryer?

Evening all! We have just sold our property and found a lovely little house which we hope to put an offer in on Monday. The only problem is, it is smaller than our current one (but is in school catchment / has lots of other benefits which outweigh the negatives), and does not have a garage (we currently have one stacked full of DH's tools and my tumble dryer). The new house is an end of terrace that has no further potential for extending and no garage.

The kitchen in the new house is lovely but minimalist with few built in cupboards. There is already a built in washing machine, but, due to the aforementioned lack of cupboards / space, it will be a toss up between installing either a tumble dryer or dishwasher.

We are a family of 4 (DH works away during the week) and I have 2 young DC. I think they would help with the washing up, but I do like just putting on the dishwasher of an evening - so much easier! But, that being said, I do a lot of washing and my tumble dryer is a godsend (I know some people hate them, but it helps me keep on top of running our busy household).

So, what would you prioritise? Dishwasher or tumble dryer?

Dishwasher. We don't use our tumble dryer at all.

Dishwasher no doubts at all!

We don't have a tumble dryer (just not my thing and uses so much energy apparently) if raining use indoor airer and dehumidifier often dries within hours

Ooooh. We're a family of 2 adults and a 3 and 2 year old.

I've been without a dishwasher for years and manage but we're about to buy our first home which has a dishwasher and I'm so excited!

We bought a tumble dryer last winter because I just couldn't cope any longer drying all our clothes on rack, using an electric one to take off the cold etc - it was so time consuming. We don't have space elsewhere and it lives in our bedroom currently - is that an option?

Or you could get a washing machine/ tumble dryer.

I'm in a terrace and had the exact same issue. I installed a dishwasher and turned an upstairs cupboard into a mini laundry room.

Dishwasher all day long! And a washer dryer.

Tumble dryer. If the house is too small for both a dryer and a dishwasher, it's too small to have 4 people's laundry constantly draped around the place.
I do love my dishwasher and hardly use my dryer during the summer as we have a conservatory that dries clothes within a few hours even when its a bit cooler outside, but the winter before we had the dryer was miserable. Couldn't move for laundry taking days to dry.
