What temp do you keep you house between

We have heating kick in usually around 17.5 degrees and let it get to around 20.5 - those few degrees seem to make a big difference to comfort. Just interested what others keep their heating at?

Its 22.5 in here at the moment and will be staying that way until bedtime, when I'll turn it down.

18 to 19 usually during the day and 16 overnight

21 in the morning and evenings. It's cooler in the day as heating isn't on, so if I wfh I wear layers.

18 - 20 degrees depending on time of day and activity level.

I prefer it at 20 but have lived with people who think the house should be set to oven temp at 24.

Kicks in at 18 and clicks off around 20.5 during the day and turn it down to 16 at night. It's yet to kick in at night

I tend to just run the heating for 1 hour a day.

Some of the rooms get pretty cold, maybe down to 12-15, but I pretty much stay in 1 room during the day for work. That room normally doesn't go below 17.

At night after I put the heating on for an hour it gets up to about 20 and then slowly decreases back down to 12-15 or so over 24 hours.

I won't let it go below 10 because of frost protection.

It is also very dry, generally about 50% humidity. I think most people nowadays are starting to realise that it is not just about temperature but humidity as well.

To me a 50% RH and 17C feels a lot better than 70%RH and 20C. I never get condensation or mould inside even at low temperatures because the place is dried out by the dehumidifier.

I have stopped a lot of heat leak recently by rearranging the loft insulation after imaging with a thermal camera. It has made one of the rooms noticably warmer.

12 overnight.

17 during the day, 18 from 3pm. Anything over gives me a headache. Heating goes off at 8.30.

Like a throw on the settee at this time of year.

20 when we are in
until 9 pm and then it can drop to 13 overnight but we have electric blankets etc and lots of blankets and dogs

I don’t put the heating on very much! It is only me and I have an electric throw I use on the sofa. My living room is currently 13 degrees. The heating has a frost setting at 10. I do put it on if people come round though, I’m not that stingy!

Morning and evening 18, daytime when no one is here the thermostat is set to 16.

To be warm and comfortable my house is 21-22.

It was set to 13. Now comes on at 16 and we get to 17 max after school/work. Can't afford any higher.

I don't understand the two temps thing. It's set to 16, so comes on at 15, turns off at 16. It may actually get to 17 because of cooking.

If I'm at home, especially WFH, I like it at about 22. It goes down to about 18 overnight.

18 ish in evening and weekends if home and off overnight. 22 is way to hot for me

Heating only on 2 hours a day,usually 3-5pm.

13 - 16. All rooms are set to different temperatures at different times.

19 all the time, occasionally boost to 20 if it feels cold/damp.
