I dunno but your thread title proper made me chuckle 😁

JohnLapsleyParlabane · 10/09/2023 22:00

Bedroom 2 contains a rolltop bath. Not usual for flats but not totally unheard of

MumofTwins234 · 10/09/2023 22:00

Well that office with a bath in it is... unusual.

It looks like they were determined to have their rolltop bath, and wouldn't let the minor issue of not having room for it in the bathroom stop them.

I think I'd end up using it for storage.

Elfie23 · 10/09/2023 22:00

Firstly the title cracked me up!

...I'm not sure where to begin!! Every room has random items!?

The Bath-fice is interesting...

Doggymummar · 10/09/2023 22:02

Guess it was once the main bedroom. It's a quirky place, good price too.

AnSolas · 10/09/2023 22:02

2 bed no office setup

Now I want a bath-fice!

bellac11 · 10/09/2023 22:04

Its a bedroom, that the bloke (has to be a bloke) has set up as a sort of office, it has a fridge in there too

Interested that theres no ground rent or service charge payable. That cant be right

Love the way they're describing the shopping area as 'little chelsea'.

Lol

HarrietJet · 10/09/2023 22:06

They're so proud of that bath. It even features in it's own close up.

The bath in the bedroom was a "thing"

Grand designs has a house where the bed rolled over the tub like a (big damp) lid

GrannyAchingsShepherdsHut · 10/09/2023 22:10

I have a colleague who sometimes joins video calls shirtless if he's wfh. At least he's not in the bath!

I'm amused that the lens they've used to make the bathroom look bigger has just resulted in a picture of a tiny tiny loo and an absolutely massive sink though! Do estate agents not actually look at the photos they take and just upload them with their eyes shut or something?!

ErrolTheDragon · 10/09/2023 22:11

Maybe he does his best thinking in the bath? (But hope he never attends a zoom meeting from thereGrin)

Smartiepants79 · 10/09/2023 22:11

That’s happened cos some idiot has fallen for the ‘put the bath in the bedroom’ fad and then realised (or the next person has) that they need that bedroom to be an office instead.

Notreadytomakenice · 10/09/2023 22:11

Abath in a bedroom I can understand (not really for me, but for someone who's bedroom gets more action than mine 😉) but an office just seems so odd, being on a zoom with work with your rubber duck floating by in the background just blows my mind🤣

OP posts:

Well yes, I would have thought most people if they needed to turn one bedroom into an office would have chosen the one without a huge bath in it.

Unless he's got a niche job designing bath toys, but I couldn't see any rubber ducks so probably not.

Chickenmumsticks · 10/09/2023 22:20

I love the fact his gym equipment has gone the same way as most exercise kit and being used as a towel/clothes dryer 😂

Mauricemossy · 10/09/2023 22:23

The place gives me the willies

When we extended our lease (about 10 months ago) we lost the ground rent. I dont know why, we still had a service charge though (we've since sold)

Palindrone · 10/09/2023 22:33

Nowhere near enough maximalism for Lawrence, surely?

It's not so much the bath in the bedroom but the vinyl right next to the bath that gets me...in a separate room to the decks!

Palindrone · 10/09/2023 22:34

Single man, reveal yourself...

dontbenastyhaveapasty · 10/09/2023 22:42

I used to work in an actual office where one of the meeting rooms had an en-suite full bathroom with a bath. It was a massive old building and at one stage this particular bit of it had been a flat for the caretaker. When it was turned back into meeting rooms, the bathroom was just left there.

I would entertain myself during dull meetings imaging how people would react if I just got up and said, ”don’t mind me, I’m just going to have a bath while we discuss this”

Surely thats the wrong way round, you would pikc the room without the bath for your bedroom (assuming the bath was there when you moved in and it was too much hassle/money to remove it) and use the bath/bedroom for either a lodger or your office.

It's actually called 'Little Chelsea' 😂

Kat19899 · 10/09/2023 22:47

I’ve been in hotel rooms with baths in the bedroom so I reckon it is or was an Airbnb

ShitMermaid · 10/09/2023 22:51

My family drive me mad when they splosh around like big fat hippos in the bathroom. I could never have so much water in my bedroom. It’s a no from me.
