- Knock through kitchen to make kitchen/diner/sitting area. Steel RSJ required
- New kitchen and appliances (builder will supply and fit from a well known kitchen supply place to my plan/design)
- Extend hall into former kitchen area to install a downstairs toilet, supply and fit
- Remove bath from main bathroom upstairs and fit shower stall, remove old tiling and flooring and replace. (Keeping the power shower that's there and all other fittings).
- New double doors from kitchen/dining area to sitting (TV) room.
- Remove old radiators and supply and fit new. Electrics as required.
- Replace all flooring downstairs (it will be the new cushioned waterproof vynil in new room, and engineered wood in the TV room and hall).
- Install new banisters in hall
- Plastering "new room", supply and fit glass spashback in kitchen.
- Painting exterior and interior.
I don't know if it is reasonable quote or not. I think it's ok for what I'm getting and I don't want to go cheap and cut any corners. Kitchen will not be top of the range but decent quality. Quote includes labour/trades and skips etc.
Just curious what people might guess!
