Not used Wayfair myself, but I fell out of a canoe once and nearly drowned. I wouldn't want to experience that again.

Also stood on some Lego.

totallyhadenoughofthisbs · 10/01/2023 06:17

Not had any problems with Wayfair beyond ordering a log store that kept getting delayed for delivery. Cancelled and money back in account working 48hrs so can't complain too much.

ApolloandDaphne · 10/01/2023 06:18

I've bought a few things from them. The items and the service were both absolutely fine.

iliketartan · 10/01/2023 06:20

I fell into a canal on a canal boat holiday and have never wanted to experience that again.

Also have trod on Lego and a dead half eaten mouse **

** not simultaneously

YukoandHiro · 10/01/2023 06:24

I've had really good service from wayfair recently

Not so John Lewis or Junique

ODFOx · 10/01/2023 06:28

No problems with Wayfair here.
I miss made.com though.

SunSandAndLotsOfGin · 10/01/2023 06:30

Ordered a few things from Wayfair - never had a problem.

TerraNostra · 10/01/2023 06:36

Why aren’t you sharing yours?!

AWaferThinMint · 10/01/2023 06:38

I had really good service and experiences with them just before Xmas.

JustLikeJasper · 10/01/2023 06:45

I ordered something from Wayfair, assembled it and found 2 pieces missing, after 5 weeks of waiting for replacement part I contacted them and they said they will send a replacement unit take the bits i need out of the new one and a courier will collect the new one a few days after. New unit arrived a couple of days later, took the parts i needed and found they didn't fit the original unit. Left it a week or so and never heard from courrier so assembled the new unit and dismantled the old one. Still not heard from a courier so have both albeit can't fully use the original

My DD ordered a bed one evening. It was delivered the following morning. Good product and easy to put together.

ChristmasCakeAndStilton · 10/01/2023 06:48

They don't always deliver when they say they will (2 week delivery turned up in 2 days, which was a bit awkward, as DH wasn't about to help me put the full height bookcase together) but otherwise I've always got what I'm expe ting, and been kept up to date about what's happening.

MisguidedGhosts · 10/01/2023 06:52

We've had a few things from Wayfair recently and they've all been fantastic - no long than a 48 hour wait for deliveries and some have come next day.

nomorespaghetti · 10/01/2023 06:57

Bought from Wayfair for the first time recently. Decent products, good price, delivery on time. 10/10 Would use again.

LubaLuca · 10/01/2023 06:57

I've ordered a couple of small items from them. One wasn't ideal so I tried to return it but they refunded and told me not to bother arranging the return. I now have a less than ideal hand mixer, but it didn't cost me anything so I can live with it!

tirednewmumm · 10/01/2023 07:05

I've ordered home bits from there and never had an issue

User11122 · 10/01/2023 07:21

Ordered twice successfully. Once a coffee table and another time a wardrobe. Delivered and assembled without any issues and good quality

NewHouseNewMe · 10/01/2023 07:23

Wayfair seem to drop ship (I.e. sell 3rd party stuff they don’t have in stock and direct to customer from Vietnam/China/UK. This means some items take almost no time and others take forever. Sadly this isn’t always clear on the website.m as they’re relying on 3rd party information on stock levels and transit times.

I personal avoid them for that reason. I’ve waited weeks and weeks for stuff that should have taken days on paper but it shipped from Hong Kong in the end.

Vickim03 · 10/01/2023 07:25

Ordered a dressing table. Arrived damaged so sent it back for a replacement, this was also damaged. I have a third one…. It does have slight damage to one edge bur not as bad as previous 2 so I gave up and kept it. I’ve not ordered from them since…. This was a few years ago now.

JustFrustrated · 10/01/2023 07:26

Ordered several times. Never had any issues. Good quality, reasonable prices and quick delivery.

What was your experience?

Courgettecity · 10/01/2023 07:29

Beds, dining table and soft furnishings from there, several orders over a few years. Never had a problem and all the items are still in good nick. (Unfortunately as I hate the dining table and would love a reason to get a new one but it'll out last me)

moose62 · 10/01/2023 07:31

@iliketartan - my son once vomited from his bunkbed onto all his mini Lego pieces which I then stood in....no mouse though...

Mummyoflittledragon · 10/01/2023 07:38

I ordered a lamp from there. Didn’t like it and it was damaged so returned without transport fees, which was a win really. I ordered a cabinet on special offer. It also arrived damaged and was clearly ex display. I took loads of photos and explained my complaint asking if there was any way of getting a replacement as the company was oos. Wayfair refunded me without even trying to negotiate and told me to keep it, which was really surprising and a good bonus. I have ordered other things and they’ve been fine btw. But my experience when things go wrong is good. The evidence portal is a bit annoying to complete though but I found them very responsive.

Mmmmdanone · 10/01/2023 07:50

I bought a mattress once. Didn't like it and wanted to return. This was at the start of covid and they said they werent taking any returns They told me to keep it and refunded me. It was a rubbish mattress but they were fair about it.
