Please share your experiences. Aargh!

I've bought twice from Wayfair, both wall art. First one took months to arrive and was nice, but seemed smaller than we were expecting. Second also took months to arrive and was shoddy in quality and slightly damaged on arrival. I complained with photos of the damage and Wayfair gave a full refund and told me to keep the item.

Think I've only used Wayfair once - for a hall storage unit.

It was a bit flimsy/pieces not well aligned, so tightening the screws split one of the pieces of composite board.

We opened a customer services chat, sent photos, were sent replacement pieces about a week later without much hassle or any extra charge. We didn't tighten the screws all the way next time - you live and learn...

The unit is still going strong, looks good and was significantly cheaper than comparable items from other retailers.

They'd never be my first choice, but given the specific nature of what we wanted they were the right people to buy from on that occasion. The customer service makes up for the slightly bodgy quality, IMHO.

I bought something from them, it took about 6 weeks to come as was from Prague. There was a broken piece so I sent the photograph of what was broken, was told another 6 weeks - 10 weeks later it came -- it was the wrong part. The next time the new part that came wasn't even from that furniture range ... completely different. The next next time they resent the piece they sent incorrectly first time around.... then they did exactly the same thing again ... by now it's about a year down the line! They ended up giving me a full refund - furniture is broken but DH glued it ... it looks a bit crappy and I hate it

Is this a Dunelm employee trying to level the playing field after we were bashing Dunelm on AIBU yesterday? 😄

I found the quality absolutely terrible and will never order from them again. I've also found the same products available cheaper direct from the manufacturers. They change the product name so they're harder to find on Google but it's worth googling for a better price and truer reviews.

What was interesting was that I was unable to leave reviews for the two shit items of furniture I bought from them, there were none posted and no option to add one. So be really wary of any products where there are no reviews.

I’ve had a couple of things from Wayfair; a TV unit which couldn’t have been closer to what I had in mind if I’d made it myself, and an outdoor cat playhouse. The TV unit is excellent and I hope it lasts me years because I love it so much, the cat playhouse is also great but the wood hasn’t been sealed brilliantly so it’s all peeling and lifting where it’s been rained on. The cats have given it a 10/10 though.

Love wayfair never had an issue and 90% of my living room furniture is from there - the choices are endless.

Ok most of this is heartwarming.
They're asked me to upload photos which it would seem is the best way forward. It's the returns procedure that's pissing me off. It's two rugs. I can't carry them to the drop off shop and I pay for carriage to boot.

Not used Wayfair myself, but I fell out of a canoe once and nearly drowned. I wouldn't want to experience that again.

Also stood on some Lego.

It's worse. I stood on an electric plug once. A good alliteration Indeed.

It was an Evri delivery. It's even been on the news today about it.

Ordered only once, I brought a dining table with 4 chairs 2 years ago.
Delivery and quality is okay.
