Anyone got a mortgage with Nationwide lately ? If so hong long did it take until you got your offer through ?
CCSS15 · 22/07/2022 17:42
Less than a week
ShowOfHands · 22/07/2022 17:43
Just a couple of days.
Paddingtonthebear · 22/07/2022 17:44
5 weeks from valuation to offer, standard application with no “issues”. This was about a month ago and our broker said there was a lot of delay due to demand
Paddingtonthebear · 22/07/2022 17:44
But the decision in principle was same day via a broker

Same , so it could be anything then .
knickersniff · 22/07/2022 18:06
They're doing the valuation Tuesday .
ShakeMoon · 22/07/2022 20:36
I was told on the phone that it is a max of 9 working days between reviewing the valuation report and issuing and offer. However that seems very optimistic!
ShakeMoon · 22/07/2022 20:36
We are also waiting.

@knickersniff We got one this month 😊 Application done 9th
Valuation done 11th
Offer through on 21st 😊
LauraJayne15 · 25/07/2022 01:37
Just four days for our remortgage. Applied on Monday, in person valuation on Friday morning and mortgage offered by the end of the day
fedupathome · 26/07/2022 07:41
Our buyer is using Nationwide and we're waiting for his mortgage offer to come through. He has a gifted deposit and the asked for a letter to that effect which was sent over on the 14th July.
Valuation took place on the 24th June .
We have essentially been waiting to hear back on his offer since the 24th June and its unbearably nerve wracking .

Valuation on the 24th June
Ohexcellent · 28/07/2022 23:13
@fedupathome @ShakeMoon we got our offer but there’s an error on the paperwork so I had to call them to have it amended. The man I spoke to says that they currently have an 8-10 working day turnaround on applications so hopefully you’ll hear soon 😬🤞🏼
knickersniff · 30/07/2022 17:47
It's really an awful wait isn't it
fedupathome · 30/07/2022 19:52
We're still waiting to hear back ... they asked for a credit card statement from our buyer.
If he doesn't get his mortgage we will have to go back on the market 😭😭😭😭.
Really starting to worry now
ShakeMoon · 31/07/2022 13:49
Yeah, still nothing here either....
knickersniff · 01/08/2022 07:23

Nope not heard a word 😫 it'll be 7 days tomorrow since valuation.
Glad you got yours through
fedupathome · 01/08/2022 17:47
@Ohexcellent that's fantastic news! So pleased for you.
Nothing yet but not expecting to hear back so soon as apparently our buyers have requested the credit card statement in the post to scan to Nationwide.
The wait is making me unbearably anxious.
