Nope. Nothing unusual at all.

Hmm i get brothel vibes

PerkingFaintly · 30/03/2022 00:31

@Carrotten

Also there's 2 eras of pictures

In some there's a black leather sofa facing the pool with red chairs. In others there's a grey/black corner sofa, black chairs and a blue bench. The black leather sofa appears to have moved upstairs but is now very tatty. The pool rules sign picture is what is now the shower

Yes, and the stair bannisters down to the pool have changed.

In some photos they're white and ornate, matching the corner balcony over the pool; in others they're powder grey and straight.

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 30/03/2022 00:32

Has anyone else noticed that in the pics from when it was first up for sale has tge same bedsheets as the current pics....do we reckon they've been washed in that time Confused

'These are sex people Lynne!'
Brilliant Grin 👏
PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 30/03/2022 00:35

There's lacquer in the bathroom, which is more of a girls thing perhaps? Most people I know would stick to Elnett or Silvikrin, and wouldn't have both.

They really need some cupboards!

VanGoghsDog · 30/03/2022 00:39

[quote lettherainfalldown]It was listed at £1.2M less than 2 years ago! Shock

Now we know what happens to fake leather lazy boy chairs after two years in a damp environment!

Jonad · 30/03/2022 00:45

Maybe it’s more a gay sauna type place where you pay to enter the place and then meet others rather than a brothel?

INeverKnewYa · 30/03/2022 00:53

There's quite a bit of food in kitchen number 1 so someone at least eats there

This is a nightmarish thought. Someone eats food there.

EmmaH2022 · 30/03/2022 00:55

Not completely unique in north London

No idea about the price of this though

thehourwaslate · 30/03/2022 01:06

Some of the better photos of the pool area are clearly old and from the past….one of them shows that rank sofa from the living room in tip top condition!

Jongy · 30/03/2022 01:25

I would only buy that if I could make the pool sea water and have my own small collection of penguins. Then it would be liveable.

mumulala · 30/03/2022 01:32

This is absolutely fascinating! It's hideous, no way is this a home. Those tiny bedrooms with open windows to the empty courtyard.

Has anyone noticed there is a recess in the pool ceiling which appears to be a boarded up window in the "trendy" open plan living room floor? So you can sit in a ming chair and watch people bobbing up & down in the pool. wTF

Oh interesting… coincidence that it’s same street as this is a different property though… 420/422!

Loginmystery · 30/03/2022 02:01

@ClafoutisSurprise

This is the kind of thing I dream of. Not in the ‘I wish I had a place like that’ sense, but literally, in one of those weird dreams where you have a whole wing of your house that doesn’t exist in reality. It’s a very regular dream for me, and always involves ugly furniture left by a previous owner in a weird, musty part of the house that I’d forgotten I had.

I can just imagine dream me walking around the pool area thinking ‘oh, yeah, I should get round to doing something with this’. And then waking up and being gutted that I don’t have an overlooked floor of my house with a pool to make over.

I have that dream too! It feels so real and I wake so excited about having more rooms to play with. It then dawns on me slowly that it’s not true.
HomeHomeInTheRange · 30/03/2022 04:01

Gay sauna.

SaveWaterDrinkGin · 30/03/2022 04:09

100% brothel

Parfait · 30/03/2022 04:22

Too elaborate for straight knocking shop, they just maximise on bedroom space. it's def a gay sauna. The bottom's obvious fallen out of the market since covid!

PrincessNutella · 30/03/2022 04:24

Whoever did the staging should be making the big bucks. Impressive display in the bathroom--it was bristlling with pharmaceuticals and whatnot.

daisychain01 · 30/03/2022 04:33

Can't get over the lack of natural daylight - their elecky bill will be mahooosive with 25 ceiling lights in each room Shock

Good for growing cannabis, I suppose... Hmm

babymama471 · 30/03/2022 04:48

The red tub chairs just scream brothel to me.

My DM once rented a place that had about 10 bedrooms and a line of tub chairs in the lounge - waiting area. I got brothel vibes from that place too, must be the creepy tub chairs Hmm

sashh · 30/03/2022 05:17

The hall and walk in wardrobe are interesting, the mermaid stained glass is a highlight.

Someone needs to write a comedy about mermaids opening a specialist brothel.

Cocogreen · 30/03/2022 05:32

Gay sauna and swingers parties.

I used to clean a terrace in a posh area and a spa pool had been put in the dining room ( in the floor, not climb in) next to the table and I was terrified I was going to absentmindedly fall in while dusting and polishing the dining table. The man I cleaned for was perfectly normal, he was renting while he was renovating a house nearby.

TheDoveFromAboveCooCoo · 30/03/2022 05:35

I have so many questions!

ScreamingSauvignon · 30/03/2022 05:41

That is one ugly property. So many layers of poor thinking and planning. It would need gutting in order to be sellable unless they get very lucky.

I actually got the ick looking at those photos.
