Nope. Nothing unusual at all.
@NothingIsWrong the second kitchen is down some steps off the pool, underneath the sofa/weights area. It has a curtain to separate it from the pool
That would be the private staff room - where you pop in and heat up your lunch in the microwave on your break

This is the kind of thing I dream of. Not in the ‘I wish I had a place like that’ sense, but literally, in one of those weird dreams where you have a whole wing of your house that doesn’t exist in reality. It’s a very regular dream for me, and always involves ugly furniture left by a previous owner in a weird, musty part of the house that I’d forgotten I had.

I can just imagine dream me walking around the pool area thinking ‘oh, yeah, I should get round to doing something with this’. And then waking up and being gutted that I don’t have an overlooked floor of my house with a pool to make over.

That is so weird. I have this dream Too. And also wake up gutted that I don't have extra secret rooms in my house

Haha! My actual first thought was that it could be an Olympian who hasn't decorated nicely as they're too busy training and travelling!

GroggyLegs · 29/03/2022 23:43

I recommend the video tour. You can really get a feel for the layout.

The photos don't do justice to the mermaid window, the creepy walk in wardrobe leading to an escape door, or the haunted chair.

Apologies to the owner if they're on here.

Merlott · 29/03/2022 23:44

What on earth happened here?!

NotAnotherUserNumber · 29/03/2022 23:45

@RonSwansonsChair

I can't figure out where the 2nd kitchen is, or indeed why there is one???Confused
I think it is a live/work location. The floor plan shows two front doors and two sets of stairs. I would guess that the upstairs is a 2 bed residence and the lower ground is for some sort of business, with its own entrance and a mini kitchen in the lower basement for refreshments for “clients”.

@SouperNoodle

Imagine the place under UV light 🤢 the horrors you'd see
I reckon you'd get pregnant just sitting on one of those chairs 🤢

Pic 15 baby oil on bath ledge
Pic 21 'pool rules' sign on bench.
Who lives in a house like this?

NancyDrooo · 29/03/2022 23:47

I could almost accept the hydrotherapy/medical theory, if the living room (which you have to ask through to get downstairs) wasn’t such a dump.

I can’t stop looking at it Confused

Neverendingdust · 29/03/2022 23:48

Looks like a brothel for swimmers

SlappingPeopleAtTheOscars · 29/03/2022 23:49

"swimmers"

sadeyedladyofthelowlandsea · 29/03/2022 23:50

Errrmmm... the toilet has a butt gun hose attachment.

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 29/03/2022 23:50

This has got to be something dodgy, I'm more concerned about the electric heater next to the pool this place is a deathtrap!

Oooh. I have this dream too. But it's not about our current home. It's always about the first flat I bought in 1992 Confused.
TooManyPJs · 29/03/2022 23:50

How do even get to the random 2nd kitchen?

Carrotten · 29/03/2022 23:51

There's quite a few medications in the walk in wardrobe so perhaps it is a hydrotherapy pool?

But low bed with a single pillow doesn't scream I need to have a pool in my house for my disability. Plus the viewing window for the pool

There's also a lot of glasses cases throughout the property, just intriguing

Merlott · 29/03/2022 23:51

The "video" is a 3d tour. Recommended!

Did anyone else notice the towels absolutely everywhere?!

Omg, I have these dreams! I quite like them.

I think it’s a “swim-up” kitchen
a1poshpaws · 29/03/2022 23:55

If I had £850,000 I'd probably pay it to NOT have to live there! Ugh!!!!

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 29/03/2022 23:55

Is that a fish tank in the wall on pic 20??

Also, no curtains in the bedrooms......

IJoinedJustForThisThread · 29/03/2022 23:57

Trying not to think about the —probable— possible “business use”, why would you have such a lavish flat and leave the two bedrooms looking so shabby?

DrSophia · 29/03/2022 23:58

Really really tempted to book a viewing. It's so strange yet kind of intriguing

Carrotten · 29/03/2022 23:58

Also there's 2 eras of pictures

In some there's a black leather sofa facing the pool with red chairs. In others there's a grey/black corner sofa, black chairs and a blue bench. The black leather sofa appears to have moved upstairs but is now very tatty. The pool rules sign picture is what is now the shower

BrieAndChilli · 30/03/2022 00:00

It’s very very odd.
I did the 3D tour and the clothes in the walk in wardrobe look white male, and lots weights etc plus what look likes bottles of supplements in above the bathroom cabinet. I would have expected a few more things like make up/skimpy outfits if it was a brothel?

Very very odd!
