Check out this stunner. Starts off pretty special, heavy on the wood but wait til picture 11 and 12. Was not expecting that. Also check out the floorplan. Upstairs is rather unusual but now I might say I'm quite tempted to fiddle around with the floorplan in my own home to incorporate a room in like that upstairs!!!

love the bar but would need to tone it down a wee bit lol the kitchen is quite oppressive too trying to be victorian but not quite getting there, and the bathroom wouldnt give you a nice relaxing bath more like a migraine, and how much money with work needing doing, up here where i live you would get a ten bedroom mansion for 2/3 of that price with grounds carraige house etc

I will say (bar aside) the floor plan is pretty common in older houses. I'm in my second with the only bathroom on the ground floor beyond the kitchen. Know of plenty more.

I was all for thinking yeah, it just needs some modernisation and removal of furniture and then BAM! Bar photo! And then random magnolia room photo, which looks so totally odd in contrast to the one the precedes it!

That's just really odd, there is no living room. Just the bar upstairs. And that's like an auction hall with loads of clocks and side boards.

That is one of the most hideous houses I have seen on these threads. And sad that a couple of the antique fire surrounds have been painted instead of leaving them brown like the rest of the stuff. I actually like original features and antiques but bloody hell, that is a crime against taste. If that sells for the price my house must be worth millions.

I don’t get how it’s marketed as a 4bed when literally every room in the house would have to be a bedroom to make that up ?

It’s not to my taste but that bar really is amazing. Maybe it’s an old social club? My family are easy Londoners and I remember a few dodgy house clubs like this back in the day
