Naming our house.Please Vote x

Hello everyone.

So we have just bought our dream home.. a cute ex Farmhouse in a village.

We would like to name it.
It's on a corner of a street.
We like :

The Corner Farmhouse

Or just

Corner Farmhouse

Which do you prefer ? Or any other ideas?

OP is naming her house. She's going for kitsch. Inauthenticity and OTTness is key.

What about a classic like Dunroamin? I like the Casa'firstnames' suggestion or just 'surname' hall.

It needs to be on the gate near the gnomes and on a little brow ceramic plaque by the door. Oooooohhhhh and on a piece of needlework under the three ducks.

Thank you so much everyone for your NICE comments. It was called Brunswick Farmhouse but we would like to put our own stamp on it now. We have worked very very hard for this house so if that's pretentious I'm not even sorry!!

It's name us part if it's history, I wouldn't change it. The locals will all call it by its original name for the next 50 years anyway! Our ex-farmhouse is still known as The W**'s House, even though they sold it in 1972 !

We call all the houses in our villages by their old names or people that used to live there's house so I'm in agreement you should keep the original!!
