Can we start a lovely thread with pics of your kitchens to give me some inspiration?? I'm finally in the position this year to have a new kitchen but I'm really unsure. I do like gloss kitchens but I also like painted shaker kitchens.:-)

Our kitchen was ripped out last week and a brand new sparkly kitchen will be fitted in the next few weeks.

@gubbsywubbsy they're Crown Imperial. We got them through a builders merchant called Huws Gray. We had the same in our previous house and were very impressed with the quality.

We've decided on a Benchmarx Sherwood kitchen in Charcoal, just waiting on the price quote.

Kitchen diner works for us.

Rosinsavera, no problem. I haven't had the quote yet, they're still working on it. Howden equivalent kitchen was 8K (Fairford). It covers the units and all the bits for the u it's, end, finishes and oven hood. The rest we'll source separately.

This is the Howdens plan which we like, but wanted a comparison in price and found the quality very similar

@MiniCooperLove - that looks lovely and just the sort of thing I'm looking for!! :-) Where will you source your worktops and what are you going for?

@Ambi what are your dimensions if you don’t mind?

rosinavera, initially we were going for Corian white but I'm not convinced by my ability to tidy up immediately and keep it immaculate so we are going for a stone composite that benchmarx stock called ApolloWhite Peak, it's white with lots of grey vein going through it.

@MiniCooperLover - aw thanks - so that will be extra on top of your kitchen then?

In respect of Howdens yes, but Benchmarx are including it in theirs so we'll see how the price breaks down.

Isitteayourlookingfor It is B&Q Carisbrooke framed in Ivory. Oak tops from worktop express. It was just over £8k all in, including appliances, LVT flooring and fitting.

Myextensionisgivingmeaheadache It's 3m x 2.5 ish I think, cant remember the width but I ordered the full length worktop at 3m.
