It's enormous and I love all the dark wood, not so keen on the mounted animal heads though.

The thing that is remarkable is how consistently just a little bit shit it is. Every room it’s sonething. Tiny rugs. Clashing colours in the kitchen. Union jacks. Leather sledge bed. Noughties hotel chair in bathroom. Weird wall colours. Just low level hideous throughout.

We bought a house that was pretty much an Edwardian museum with hideous decor. In fact we have a hall, stairs and landing in one of the strong colours in that house. We're changing it this year.

I was concerned as to what might be hiding under the blanket in the teenagers bedroom. It looks like they’ve been told to tidy up so just covered their crap with the blanket

They got those black cushions on the sofa from tk maxx. I actually really like that house. 'low level hideous ' is the next big thing.

I quite like some bits in this house! Some of it is a bit garish, but there are some beautiful features too.

jolly I wondered that - at first I thought it was a b&b or something and it was a health and safety thing, but it doesn't look like it from the other rooms.

Maybe if there's a fire the knight springs into action with the fire extinguisher?!
