Sorry - white metro tiles are not dated. They are a classic and perfect in a house of that age. Now the tiles when the sellers bought it, they screamed 1980s trying-to-look-period.

White metro tiles are timeless
They've gone for a traditional look with that bathroom
It's a good area, but it's a very busy main road
I like the renovation, it's hard to find a balance with an old house with all that wood and original features.
Don't like the colours, but that's just paint

Movinghouseatlast · 09/02/2019 14:43

I love it! It isn't hideous at all. Fab kitchen and bathroom.

It's quirky taste, which I really like.

jemihap · 10/02/2019 06:51

I actually quite like it.

Hilariously overpriced though, you gotta love a trier.

tenapenny2018 · 10/02/2019 10:42

Couldn't sell for £500k last year.

Withdrew from market.

Came back for £550K. (Seller needs a new Porsche?)

Reckon £450K max.

Letthemysterybe · 10/02/2019 11:03

I’m amazed that it is ‘hilariously overpriced’. In my town a house like that, near the hospital would be £900

Boom76 · 10/02/2019 11:29

I really like it

mmmm25 · 10/02/2019 11:35

It's on a busy main road. Not dual/ triple carriageway like some parts of Queens Drive but still a busy A road. It's a nice house though & the area & schools are very good.

pepperjack · 10/02/2019 12:22

I don't think it's overpriced either
There are similar size houses on for similar price
Who knows why they took it off the market, Oct-Jan isn't really that long to give it a chance especially over Xmas. It's 2/3 years since it sold for £352k, maybe that was a bargain, certainly looks like elderly people could've moved out
