Favourite Farrow & Ball colour?

We're just about to start re-decorating and being faced with the massivvvve choice on the F&B colour card I'm wondering what other people have plumped for (and for which room)?

Any colours that have proved disappointing once on the wall?

lucky, it's my favourite F&B colour too. I'm having my kitchen units painted in it.

I love it too- it's in my lounge. It's a beautiful colour, that changes in different lights.

It is mad how different colours look in different lights/rooms. I'm considering calluna in my kitchen where the patch looks lovely pale violet/grey but I put a patch in my living room and it looks hideously lilac.

Also considering calamine for bedroom but now I've looked at this thread I'll need to go back and think again about some of the others. Problem is I'll need to remortgage house to buy all the match pots.

I really love stiffkey blue but wouldn,t have the nerve to paint it anywhere

I live too close to a F&B shop which is a lovely experience to visit I have to say. They even let me take the dogs in.

I might be off to the shop tomorrow to get a light blue tester then.

James White in a living room, with windows to the garden (south facing) and with pine flooring and brilliant white (satin) woodwork looked beautiful to me and many visitors commented on how lovely it looked. It's like the colour of glass, just a touch of green, but warm in tone. Slightly putty-like. F&B paints are very thin, usually need 3 coats rather than 2, but leave a super-sleek finish if applied with care to smoothly sanded or freshly plastered walls.

Gosh this is an old thread @Callaghan777! Been lovely rereading it.

Hope you get some suggestions.
