Hall: White tie on walls with Old White on paintwork.
Front and back door: Castle Room Gray (it's actually green, and gorgeous.)
Spare room, Lime white on paintwork, String on walls, which can look quite green depending on the light.
North facing dark little library/sitting room: Light blue. disaster. Lovely colour but very cold and drab for the aspect, and consequently a depressing room to sit in. I need to change it.
Kitchen and boot room: Off-white on walls, pointing on woodwork, and kitchen cabinetry is Blue-Gray (which is actually the perfect blue/green)
Off White is a really beautiful pale limestone colour which can look warm or cool, with overtones of grey, cream, green, or stone, depending on the light and the time of day.
My pantry is in Matchstick, purely beacuse I had a bit left over from a previous room, which has since been changed. It's very nice, especially for a country house.
My bedroom and my dining room/conservatory are both Shaded White, which I LOVE. Very pale mushroom grey. The bedroom has slipper satin on the woodwork and the conservatory wood is in a Dulux copy of French Gray, which is very disappointing, but I can't afford to do it again.
Drawing room is in Cream (which is actually a pale, slightly ochre yellow) lovely in the evening but a bit too lemony in daylight for me. But it's an evening room so no matter. With pointing on the woodwork.
My friend had Parma Gray and it is actually very blue.
