We have a weekend booked at hemsby but don't think we are going to go now as it is over 4 hours from us!

I phoned up before and quoted the code and she just said they're all gone, i didnt know about a £40 upgrade. Against my better will because i reeeeally cant afford it ive just booked one for southport mon-fri strating on the 26th may, im not happy coz for a start it cost me £174 and secondly we cant even stay the 4 nights as DH has a hospital appointment on the friday morning and has to take preparation on the thursday, so we will have to leave thursday morning or maybe even wednesday night, but DH has already booked the holiday off so my hands are tied

SD you may aswell just go, i know its a long drive but its a freebie so worth it, it'll be an adventure

I've just called to see if it is possible to cancel and not lose the £40 upgrade fee - it isn't

Also, cannot give to someone else and change names as the holidays are being sold on eBay and Pontins have clamped down.

Nemo - so are you having 5 of your for free? My sister would love to come with us but I dont think she woud be free, even though we have the classic appartment which has 2 twin rooms and a double sofa bed, and my DD will be in her travel cot???

chloe we are in the basic appartments and have just said dd2 is under 1 [she is diddy anyway but is 17mths]

Omg. we have the classic, and were told we couldnt have 4 plus my DD who will be 6months old!! I wil have to ring them again on monday!

DONT KNOW IF IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE BUT WE PHONED THE ACTUAL SITE ON CONFIRMATION LETTER oops sorry think NBG also has an under 1 down and 4 others so might be the apartments?

Does anybody know if they atually check how many people are with you? ie do you need a pass to get in the site. To be honest, they are more likely to MAKE money if I bring more people as we will all eat in their resutrants etc.
