i just though we could sit her on the floor in the back of the car as we go through main gate & hopefully they wont see her!! It sounds mad but i'm desperate !

Hi victoriansqualor,
Thanks for your reply.
I do hope you're right. We have never been before to Prestatyn Sands. Ive got it into my head that they are going to search the car or something as we go through! We've got 2 holiday confirmation forms-one to be handed in at main gate and another to be given to reception.
I'd die if they refused us entry, my husband has already gone mad at me for not putting little one on the booking form already!
Fingers crossed!

VictorianSqualor · 15/08/2008 10:39

They don't check the car. Seriously, there is a little box type thing next to the gates that just checks that cars coming in have a valid pass, you only get one pass per family for the car.

The entertainment place kids were in and out of all the time I was there, without passes, after the first night I didn't even have to show my entertainment pass.

You'll be fine.

loubylou6 · 15/08/2008 10:42

God thats a relief!!
Do you each get an entertainment pass? Do you have your photo taken or anything? We plan on one of us going to collect keys etc whilst the others wait in car (hopefully anyway, thats the plan!)

VictorianSqualor · 15/08/2008 10:44

Entertainment passes are no more professional than a raffle ticket.
They give you a little piece of card with your chalet/caravan number on it and that's it. Each adult gets one, I really don't think children did.

loubylou6 · 15/08/2008 10:49

Thank god for that! I'm a bit more relieved now! I know at some parks they check more than at others. We've been to Greenacres Haven at Portmadog before and they hardly check there. We took the dog last year (last minute decision as the person meant to be looking after him let us down at last moment!)and we hadnt declared him or paid the £20 charge and nobody questionned it.

We took dd aged 4 mths and we never got a pass for her anyway although the older dc's got one 3 + 6.
