Primary school places being awarded tomorrow

Does anyone know if they release the email at midnight tonight or early tomorrow morning? I'm very excited/nervous!

I'm in London and the e admission portal updated exactly at 5pm. We got our first (and only) choice. Good luck to you all.

Thanks Dave! The email has arrived and we got our first choice for DD. Now we just need a place there for DS (who is top of the waiting list for an in-year place) and everything will be peachy. If that doesn't happen by September the school run will be interesting...

Our email was 3.15pm!! If I hadn't have remembered the password I would've been climbing the walls!!

I'm in Surrey. Application said "evening of 18 April"... No message/email yet.

I logged onto e addmissions Web site for London and Surry as couldn't wait for email and the offer was there.

Didn't get any of our choices, but expected that as my child was not in catchment for any schools. However we have since moved and our offer happens to be the bearer school to our new home! Very happy, school is a good one and feel lucky that the offer worked so well despite moving too late to change our address on the application!

That's great Fruit! Must be a weight off your mind.

Don't forget to accept your places - those earlier up the thread you need to do that also.

We got our first preference - sibling place

Some around us have got no preference and the local catholic school instead.

I'm so relieved it's unreal, I've posted on here in bits a couple of times about it!

How do we accept our place? Is this explained when we get the letter?

Tiggy I think they are saying 97% got one of their choices as I said no consolation if you aren't one of the lucky ones

Thanks to tiggytape I don't think my council have heard of online services and the email I received says not to reply. They also send me a letter with details am I safe to wait for that to see what it says? We are supposed to receive the letter in the next day or two
