Primary school places being awarded tomorrow

Does anyone know if they release the email at midnight tonight or early tomorrow morning? I'm very excited/nervous!

I got my second choice school but still want my first choice school! I hear stories of going on waiting lists is it just a case of calling in the morning and asking to be put on a waiting list?

Ragdoll, yes you can ask to be put on the waiting list for your first choice and you're entitled to know where your child is on the waiting list.

Thanks Mrsjamin I don't mind the school we have been given but it wasn't first choice so I'm having a wobble! I can't imagine there's much other than waiting list I can do about it. And it was my second choice after all!

We got our first choice! (Phew!) we're in North Yorks and got our email about 7 this morn.

We got our email at 8am....my twins got our first choice school, we only picked 2 though and would have been happy with either but really happy they got our first choice. Good luck to those still waiting and fingers crossed you get the schools you really want.
Just a quick question though....what happens now? Never done this process before....do we get contacted by the school now about info, start dates, visiting day etc?

I logged onto our portal early this morning and have been offered our first choice for dd. Very happy.

we got our 1st (and only) choice.
It was that or homeschool....relieved!

Lambeth for some reason is after 5pm, lord only knows why they can't let us know before then!

I'm waiting for a sibling place for my DD, so in theory it should be ok, but still feeling nervous and definitely not being complacent until I see it in black and white!

so it's almost 5pm! I am also impatient, I made a mess with my application, moved house last month and updated the address in the website and now it is showing both addresses... but I couldn't change the school order, so only God know what they have considered in my application...

I wonder if it's actually 'at 5pm' or sometime between 5pm and midnight?
