First choice, but no idea which of the two separate sites.

hotcrosshunny · 16/04/2014 17:07

NeverQuiteSure · 16/04/2014 17:14

1st choice. Phew. Not sure how many of DD's nursery friends will have places though Sad

LondonSuperTrooper · 16/04/2014 17:14

SURREY I haven't recieved the Surrey email either..... and I've already accepted the place online!

shroedingersdodo · 16/04/2014 17:18

Shit. Crap school with rubbish ofsted many miles from home, that wasn't even on the list. What do I do now?

DS will be heartbroken.

Kefybaby · 16/04/2014 17:20

I feel that I have failed my DD Sad.

Changebagsandgladrags · 16/04/2014 17:22

DownstairsMixUp · 16/04/2014 17:23

Sorry for those who haven't got their first choice :(

mummytime · 16/04/2014 17:26

Shroedingersdodo - Don't panic! When you get the letter make sure you are on the waiting list of all schools you would prefer. If the school is more than 2 miles away they will have to provide transport (admittedly this is rubbish in London). Investigate other possible schools. Look out for new Free schools, and for bulge classes.

Good luck!

Changebagsandgladrags · 16/04/2014 17:27

For those that didn't get in. Get on the waiting list asap. We went from 12th to a place at DS's school. That was our second choice. We eventually got the first choice offer, but DS was settled and we liked school 2.

shroedingersdodo · 16/04/2014 17:27

Do I have to get on the waiting list immediately? Are the waiting lists first come first served, or are they judged by other factors?

(wondering if I should be by the door of the office responsible for that tomorrow at 8am)

Waiting list will be in admissions criteria order. Some areas automatically put you on other areas you need to ask to be put on.

whatcolour · 16/04/2014 17:32

In our area you get out in wait list automatically - same criteria as initial round

Will they speak to me if I go there in person tomorrow? (I'm in Greenwich, the office is at the Woolwich Centre)

kateemo · 16/04/2014 17:44

Still waiting in Redbridge. AHHHHHHH

mummytime · 16/04/2014 17:49

Possibly - they are likely to be very busy. The key thing is to try to talk to someone who knows what they are talking about not just someone drafted in to man the phones. Don't reject the place offered - it won't move you up any lists, and the LA doesn't have to offer you another place. They won't be able to tell you your place on the waiting list for a couple of weeks. But in Greenwich I would think there will be some movement.

AllabouttheE · 16/04/2014 17:54

London results out on the eadmission site if you log in. I've accepted and had an email confirming my acceptance
But
I've not actually had an offer email yet !!
