New thread - happy Monday!

Just incase you are wondering this is a thread for premmie mums who feel like they have missed out on the NCT classes experience and would like to chat.

I have missed out twice as has had two premies!
One of which seems to be wide awake at 4am - I have just fallen over a toy trying to get to her and am now cuddling her praying she'll drop off fast!
How's everyone?

My body is aching. My legs are so sore, my arms are deadweights, muscles I never knew I had are aching. I forgot how demanding fitness tests were. Holy cow my body aches so bad! And I still have an on-ice test tomorrow. I will be paying the price tomorrow!

DH and I set up for a lovely bubble bath to spend some time together, we timed it late so that the DC were asleep, 20 minutes in DH was about to do DTD when K came in and said he heard Vava (DH) crying and thought he was hurt Blush. In the end we ended up sharing with K who wanted reassuring cuddles from DH. He's now back in bed fast on but the romantic, relaxing mood has gone and has been replaced by a Die Hard movie and a massive pack of salted pretzel sticks...

Oh no, DH was passed out as soon as his head hit the pillow. It was a bonding session between Bruce Willis and I Grin

I recieved some good news this morning; Halo is set to be discharged Monday! He'll need to go back twice a week for PT appointments as his left side is very weak though he has gained slight movement in his left arm. His head support is stronger and he's feeding with gusto :)

Wonderful news about Halo. Grin My closest friend (her boy was diagnosed with infantile spasms and now west syndrome) is paralysed down his left side, his arm didnt work at all neither did his leg, but he's now 4 and masses of physio later and while he still can't use his arm he can walk. The brain is a amazing thing.

He's doing good. There's a picture on my profile of him (day he was released Sunday). He sleeps constantly and he's feeding like a trooper. He does take awhile to settle and things still startle him but I'm so proud!

Also Artie is now able to pull herself up! :) x

DH went AWOL for a few hours, yesterday, so I had to do everything he was supposed to do. It was chaotic and then our deep freezer with upto 6mo of bm in it broke.

Today is much better and we have a new deep freezer for my expressed bm :)

Poor LO. I hope the chickenpox go soon! Xx

Our fridge freezer is broken, and I lost loads of slow-cooked dinners and little pots of food I'd made for my son. Also. It's been really hot here and I could have done with a freezer full of ice lollies! I think if I'd lost EBM I would have wept.

I cheekily ask to store then in my neighbours! (He has one for his bee farm products... Grin So he has over 40 bottles of BM in his deep freezer. Luckily the fridge konked out while I was sorting the garage and heard it die so I could rescue what I could. But I lost BM lollies w/fruit I made for DCs. And a few frozen meals :(

Guys you are making me feel inferior - home cooked food in the freezer and breast milk lollies.
My DD had beans on toast for tea and my DS had jam on toast as he is so poorly.

I love experimenting with food and cooking in batches so I don't have to do it often! We had fried egg on toast with chopped tomatos yesterday. I'm kinda health nut with food - more the kids than me! Tonight is pizza (homemade frozen bases and let them top with anything they want Grin. Only thing I do is shove it in the oven!

Urgh. Rain! We do my kids like rain?! Even Halo likes rain (when raindrops land on his face he sticks his tongue and rocks back and forth Grin. So it looks I'm taking them to out for the day...
