Abortion scan please please help desperate

I went for a scan yesterday, assuming Id be having my abortion on Wednesday and Thursday of this week.

My lmp dates suggest im just over 7 weeks.

My scan showed I was around 5. They said I need to go back in two weeks time to redo the scan as they need to see a embryo and all they saw was a pregnancy sac (normal for 5 weeks).
I am so upset. Will I be over 9 weeks when I go back? Nurse said no- I will be around 7 weeks.
What date did your scan go by?
I'm really struggling, have no one to talk to and I'm so confused . Please someone help im begging you.

Sorry you are having this bad time, it won't be like labour. I've not had an abortion myself but I have accompanied a friend, she came back to my house and went to bed with a hot water bottle.

She said it was painful, but like a bad period.

Went to work for a few hours today. Kind of forgotten about it all. Bit achy today also had a rubbish sleep! I think I was tensing up in my nightmare!

I dreamt the nurses put me in an old fashioned mental asylum!

Was so scary

Had a better night sleep. Still bD some strange dreams but no nightmares thankfully

I'm so scared now because my appointment is tomorrow and I felt really poorly and weak yesterday :( think tonight's going to be sleepless

The end is in sight. You'll be ok. Try and stay positive and strong. This time next week it could be all over.

Yesterday I was very achy. And weirdly had a dull pain in my groin and legs. Was very strange but seems to be gone now. I think I had just slept in a strange way .

Try and keep busy today so hopefully you make yourself so tired you get a good night sleep

Don't panic. But I saw on Twitter that they stopped surgical abortions and under 18 in Marie stopes.

I naturally thought this affected me so I called the helpline.

It's nothing to worry about, and if your with nhs and bpas you have the best care and would affect the procedure in anyway. The lady said there is nothing at all to worry about if your not with Marie stopes.

So if you see it on the news DONT PANIC like I did. It doesn't mean anything to us at all.
In fact they are referring all the women who need surgical or anything to bpas or nhs for the best possible care. So that's comforting for us.

Don't want you to see it and panic like I did. And it was needless.

Same as me! Typical isn't it!!i saw it trending and almost fainted. My head went all dizzy saw the helpline and thought im not gonna worry myself, I'll call it.

So I did , and I'm glad. We will be ok.

Also called the hospital again earlier just for a chat. The lovely lady put my mind at ease again. And she said again 'if it was that bad, there is no way we would let people go home and do it without a medical professional on hand. It's fine'

They must do thousands upon thousands a year I hate the fact that when I'm in a tizz I can't think logical :(

I heard of girls when I was in school having them aged 13/14 how were they so brave?

It makes you think doesn't it. It's so much for a woman to go through, let alone a young teen.

I was on work yesterday, and when I was dealing with something, I thought 'this is as natural to me, as abortions are to the nurses. It's no big deal'. Calmed me a little. Mind you I have my moments. Is that what your like?

Yeah, I calm myself thinking it's pretty much a basic procedure now days but then I get myself in a Tiz. I'm hoping I can try and get myself to just zone out tomorrow I've been told I should be there for no more than 3 hours

When I went for my scan, I was on auto pilot. Just wanted to get it done. Hopefully you will feel the same tomorrow.

I ate so much I threw up just now I normally barely eat. One small meal a day. This last week I've eaten like a pig, seem to always be hungry and it's helping when I feel nausea.

But I took it too far it seems.

Worst nights sleep tossing and turning all night :(

Sorry can't really update they can't find anything even a gestational sac I have to go back this week
