I had a NIGHTMARE dealing with Little Amigos in Stockport. I ordered my pushchair online only to wait 4 WEEKS, then be told they couldnt get the stock any more, and i'd have to wait another 4 WEEKS. I immediately triend to cancel my order, only to be met with more of a nightmare.

They had already taken my money from my credit card - even though they insist no money is taken till they send your order. Anyway, 6 phone calls later, more promises of messages will be passed to customer services, someone will call you back but NOTHING. After another 2 weeks i got my money back but the whole experience was unbearable. Someone called 'Mr Hawoon' was rude, abusive and downright unhelpful.

I felt all the more guilty as i recommended them to a friend (as they ARE cheap), but she ended up receiving the wrong item after a 3 week wait! Then she was told the one she wanted wasn't in stock. Again, another refund battle commenced!

I have since been told by a rep of one of the big pushchair firms that this company is related to Bambino Direct - eiether one is a spin off of the other, or they are the same company. I am still investigating. Bambino have bad reports so this kind of makes sense.

Little Amigos is an awful company to purchase from!!!!!! Please boycott this company!

This company does not respect their customers. They shipped my order to the incorrect house and when I had them reschedule my delivery they once again delivered it to the incorrect house.

Even though I have proof that they messed up the address (as my invoice has my correct address on it) they refuse to contact me back or apologise for wasting 3 days of my time waiting for deliveries that they repeatedly had going to a house down the street.

for the reason that they refuse to contact me now just to apologise i would never buy from them again or suggest anyone else to use them

I am the managing director of Little Amigos. Please note it is very easy for our competitors to come on here and leave bad reviews. In order to take these people serious they should leave there order number or proof of any purchase they have made.

Further more we have no connections with Bambino Direct.

This definitely sounds like one of those nightmare companies where you need to use your credit card company to obtain your refund and then let the credit card company battle with Little Amigos direct. We used this service last year when a restaurant charged us 3 times for the same meal and despite repeated promises no refund appeared. We contacted our card company and registered our problem. They then refunded our account and took it up with the restaurant - no more hassle or waste of time on our part and it was brilliant. Different card companies may have rules about the amount involved and not cover smaller items but Iw ould have thought all companies would deal with big purchases like pushchairs as this is supposed to be one of the advantages of buying with a credit card. Perhaps someone will come along who is more knowledgable on the ins and outs but all I can say is it worked brilliantly for us.

I ordered a pram all in one 3 weeks ago and when it never turned up after their 7 day delivery time we had to call them to see what the problem was.
Seemingly it was out of stock and the newer version of pram would be sent out by the following thursday. Didnt arrive and we had to hire a car seat from the hospital to get our baby home.

I would have left my order number here but when you call and quote the number they dont ask you to confirm your details, as they TELL you your details.

I def dont work for a rival company, im just an angry mum.

This is what this company?s customer service?s language is like. They can?t get their point over in a respectful way. KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. From other reviews, I had recently checked, this seems to be the way the owner handles things (so what about the staff!!!!)

the card was valid BTW. I also don't work for any rival company, i am just a very unhappy customer, one of many it seems.

Please stay away from this company. I ordered a car seat and was sent an email to say that it had been despatched and the money was taken out of my account. I had not received it a week later when I contacted them they said that it would be despatched that day and I would receive it by the Friday. I still have not received it and when I called twice today they have now said that they don't have it in stock. I asked for my money to be returned and they said that everyone that could do that was in a meeting and that they "Would try and return it today" but on reading the other reviews about this company (which I wish I had read before placing my order) getting my money back maybe a bit of a nightmare. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

This company is dreadful.

They lie about their stock levels so you place an order. It then goes on back order but they will not tell you that.

There is no customer service at all. I had to press for an order acknowledgement, chase hard for an order update and then constantly email and phone to try and get the order cancelled.

Internet shopping at its worst.

It always amazes me how often people talk about bad experiences and never the good ones. I feel for all that have had a bad experience with little amigos, when you are pregnant the last thing you need is extra stress and upset.

Personally my experience with little amigos has been a good one.
I purchased several baby items from little amigos on line, i got next day delivery on some items and had a call that some items were out of stock, this made me a lil hesitant, internet shopping is always scary, but after a couple of calls to check on my order process the other items were sent, the staff were always respectful and helpful.
I arranged to pick the last item i was waiting for from the shop as i needed it for a weekend, this was an experience in itself as i was offered a demonstration of the pushchair i was collecting and offered advice on other items, this was something i wasn't expecting, it wasn't forceful either, just genuinely helpful.

All in all my experience has been a good one and i would recommend little amigos to all my friends, maybe if i had read the reviews here first i would have never attempted to buy from them, but i'm happy i did as it worked for me.

Disgusting company. Had a total nightmare with them still waiting for an order after 5 months!! do not buy from them, they are so rude and cannot be bothered with there customers. I contacted the main supplier because I was sick of waiting only to find the order was not placed at all!! I think the suppliers should think twice about dealing witht them. What total muppets I will never recommend or buy from them again. I feel so sorry for all the new mummies as it should be a happy special time not a time full of hassle chasing up such a shabby shop. DO NOT BUY BEWARE OF THESE COWBOYS!!

LOVE HOW THE COMPANY HAS PUT ON A MESSAGE TO COMPLAIN DIRECT EVEN THOUGH THEY DO NOT GET BACK TO YOU AND JUST LIE ON THE EMAILS. I WOULD GLADLY POST THE EMAILS AND ORDER DETAILS IF THATS WHAT IT TAKE TO ACTUALLY GET SOME WHERE. IF HE HAD ANY REAL UNDERSTANDING HE WOULD REALISE THAT WE ARE NOT COMPETITORS WE ARE ACTUAL CUSTOMERS WHO ARE VERY ANGRY!

Unfortunately I too have to add a negative post. I placed my order on 10 June for a baby jogger summit and raincover. Initially I was quite impressed as I received a phone call to shortly after placing my order to say there was a difficulty with the supplier but that they could get the order to me by the end of June. They offered me the chance to cancel the order but, as these things happen, I thought that I would wait.

I received my pushchair later than i was told at the end of the first week in July with a note on the invoice saying that the raincover was and "item to follow". I rang to chase this on the 13 July and was told it would be in by the 15 July and delivered hopefully on the 16 July. This didn't happen so I chased again and was told it would definitely be with me by the 22 July. 22 July nothing, 23 July nothing. I have rang today, 24 July and left a message twice with customer services to call me back.

The company is a disgrace.

I'm not really sure about all of these negative messages. I ordered a Quinny Buzz 3 from Little Amigos (for the best price I could find on the internet) and it was delivered to my parents house in Derbyshire the next day.

I couldn't really ask for any more and will gladly use them again and recommend others to do so!

I was really pleased with the service I received from Little Amigos. My pram came promptly and much cheaper than many other sites. I encourage more people to use them and you can visit their shop in person if you're near by to Stockport.

Hi there i have currently purchased a few products from Little Amigos. I was very happy with the level of service as they were a lot cheaper from other stores and the quality of the products was perfect.
I usally only buy from retailer, however i googled searched prams and the one i was after was the cheapest at Little Amigos so i called them up and spoke to a advisor (Abid) he was great, I recieved the pram within 3days!

Overall i would highly reccomend this company.

Thank Goodness I did not read these reviews before purchasing from Little Amigos. I have had FANTASTIC service from them. I RECOMMEND anyone to use this company they are BRILLIANT!!!!

I phoned last Thursday (late on, around 4pm) and placed my order. I was looking for a good deal on a Baby Jogger package (the best stroller on the market... I have a double and a single stroller and love them!!!!) and had emailed lots of people I found through Google. Little Amigos was by far and away the best deal that I could find. I dealt primarily with Haroon, although everyone I spoke to was so friendly and polite. Haroon went out of his was to give me an amazing deal and was so great on the phone that I even got a few laughs too.... UNBEATABLE SERVICE!!!

After placing my order I then went on here (mums.net) to check..... I know stupid to do that afterwards but I have a 5 month old (along with a 2 year old) and blame it on baby brain!!!!.... and had I checked these reviews before I probably would have given them a body swerve.

However, I received my entire order this morning (Monday) as promised. Little Amigos has given me the most professional, helpful, courteous and friendly service I have ever received and I would recommend anyone (friends, family and all of you reading this) to use them. They have given me a BRILLIANT deal on my Baby Jogger City Mini plus I ended up buying a lot of accessories from them as I was getting such a good deal.

Please judge this company through your own experiences and just give them a chance... I am so glad I did.

I have recently purchased a number of items from Little Amigos for my new baby. I chose Little Amigos as i found their prices to be the best for all the items I had selected. Upon placing my order the service was very efficient and smooth. The payment was not taken until the goods had been recieved and all the staff were very helpful in all aspects of the purchase. The delivery time was also reasonable and the dates promised for the delivery were met. All in all i have had a very positive experience with this company and would recommend them to any of my friends and family...

I recently purchased a Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix car seat from Little Amigo over the web and I was very impressed with the speedy delivery. The item did not appear in stock at the time however when I called I was advised that it would be delivered in seven days. To my surprise I received the car seat in four days which was just in time for our road trip up North. I also had a Little Amigos voucher which could only be used online however the friendly staff were happy to take this over the phone when I made my purchase.

I will look forward to shopping with Little Amigo again very soon!!

I purchased an array of items from Little Amigos in Stockport Manchester including: a booster seat, baby carrier, a Cossato Goo Goo Rocka Jelly babi and a Chicco open Sea Play pen. I was absolutely amazed at how polite the staff were, their extremely polite telephone manner, there recommendations which facilitated my choice of purchase and their ardent desire to please every customer and their unyielding commitment to quality.

Moreover, the expeditious manner in how they dealt with our order was plausible. It made a pleasant change as I did not have to chase my order up once. Also, the quality of their products is fantastic. I bought several booster seats from other companies which left my son rather disgruntled. However, he is as good as gold on car journeys now.

In addition their very simple an easy to use Chicco Sea Play Pen is not only a comfortable and safe hub in which my child can play. It is also a practical and essential item for a parent?s home.

I love the shop, love the products and love Little Amigos, 10/10!

My wife also recommends the Gifts and Vouchers section on Little Amigos website. She says that it is a very good choice if you want to give a freind a present in celebration of their new born!

As i am pregnant my husband insisted that i stay at home with my feet up :) so i left it with him to get a pram. We had been looking for a Bebecar grand style range pram and he managed to find the right one on the Litle Amigos website. We gave them a call and was pleasantly suprised by the manner in which our order was dealt with, within a day we were contacted and told our order has been dispatched. Two days later our pram had arrived and me and my husband were chuffed to bits. This was a hassle free purchase and would recommend it to anyone who wants a excellent and quick service.

I went into this store to buy my pushchair and there was about 4 members of staff in there plus a lady who was related to the family. They had no idea how to attached the pushchair car seat to the frame I was looking at. They struggled with demos but I thought they were very friendly. I know this is a fairly new company so maybe they are experiencing teething problems.... They need me 'The Queen of Pushchairs' working for them ;)

We ordered from Little Amigos, because their prices are clearly attractive enough, but as with most of the posts on here, we are having shocking ongoing issue. We happily cancelled our order and purchased elsewhere and got the service we were after. For those that had good service, I would suggest it was more luck than anything else. They probably happened to have the item you were after in stock and were able to dispatch it on time. Generally I would suggest these posts indicate a policy of taking orders first then sourcing the stock and despatching when it is most affordable to do so. I would prefer them to tell me it will take 4-6 weeks to deliver your pram, but we are cheap, than to make commitments they have no intention of keeping. If you are so desperate for a discount to the point that service doesn't count or you generally just enjoy wasting your time following up on your order, enjoy the experiance with Little Amigos
