TRIPLETS!!!

Had my 12 week scan today and there are indeed 3 babies there. Two identical and one not. Am in total shock.
I'd been feeling pretty lousy but not really worse than other people I know. I don't even have much of a bump. I already have a DD so I'm going to be Mum to 4 under 2!
Holy cow...

Anyone else had triplets???

my DD's best friend has triplet little sisters and her Mum is still surviving! But - wow!!!

Congrats x3

ladyandthechocolate · 14/11/2009 21:10

Thanks all!
I wasn't on fertility drugs -all natural. Am v. surpised as I wasn't expecting it at all. My friend who is having twins and is a week behind me has a bigger bump.
I laughed hysterically in the scan room then promptly burst into tears! Not unhappy tears just tears of shock.

I must get in contact with tamba etc as I'm concerned about the logistics of it all. I hear some people have to go on bedrest and I'm worried about prematurity.

So much to think about...

WOW WOW WOW

Massive Congratulations!!!

I had 3 under 3 and it was/is hard but wouldn't change it. You will cope. I think you may be entitled to some sort of home help when they are born but I'm not sure.

I'm sure it's a lot to take in and a lot to worry about- try to take it easy though!

So what would the proper due date be?

BecauseImWorthIt · 14/11/2009 21:20

Oh my goodness. Congratulations!

mama2moo · 14/11/2009 21:29

Congratulations

You will find a way of making it work with 3 babies and a toddler - My friend had twins and an 18 mo and she breast fed both babies and had them all sleeping through the night at 2 months!

Speak to you mw about support groups, information or people she knows who are pg or have recently had triplets who may be able to give you some advice.

It is pretty amazing that you can create 3 babies in one go
